Mike Mayock compares him as even with Redman that the 49ers took in the 3rd but was a borderline 1-2 before the ACL CBSsports has a good write up on him. Very good change of direction best suited as a slot corner covering the Amendola types that kill us. Good tackler with good ball skills

It was just my first thoughts on him. I've barely watched the guy, but I will be watching all our rookies pretty soon here.

I get it its hard to know ll these guys from smaller schools but from what I have read today the bigget knock is his size and most seem to think he is a better zone fit as opposed to man to man. I will be doing the same with these guys too.

The thing is if we were beating the drum about character by passing on Tunsil and Spence then why did we take Alex Lewis? this is the same Alex Lewis who did jail time for beating an air cadet unconscious then went on a social media rant against huskers fans. Seems a bit hypocritical.

I like the idea of taking Reynolds from Navy.  It's our home state where the Naval Academy is located.  Besides, if he is good, then we'll wait for him to serve his minimum of 2 years active duty before he can be shifted to a desk job during the season.  Go Navy and Go Ravens.  This is a class organization.

Different type of investment to put a high pick into a player compared to a 4th round pick. Also, just because he's a military member doesn't make the guy innocent. I'm in the military and I know some people try to throw around their service as if it makes them immune or something. We have no idea the details, but maybe the guy did something as well. Doesn't entitle him to beat someone unconscious, but I am sure if we took him we must've felt comfortable with it. I mean, Reynolds is on the team so he's in the military, so I am sure that will be brought up in training camp or something.

Also, the Lewis thing was a bar fight - people keep bringing up the fact that the other guy was an air cadet when that had nothing to do with the fight at all, he just so happened to be an air cadet. And he never did jail time, he got two years of probation

Nah. I think most if not all military members would stick up for another service member if there was any wrongdoing, regardless of their branch of service. Anyway, it doesn't matter.

Lots of solid LBs, at least in my opinion, look to be available for UDFA.  I imagine that's the priority.
