Die hard Raven fan in NJ/NY!!!  I'm sick.  Totally a mistake not taking Jack.   Give me a break.  Called my buddy yesterday morning yelling on the phone JACK JACK JACK.  He calls me last night and says great call, you're gonna get him.  Then bang, Ozzie screws it up.  NY Giants doctors said he's fine.  No offense to the country but NY has some really good ones!!  This risk was so WORTH the reward!  Come on Ozzie What the heck???????  Stop over thinking it.  HUGE talent!! IM SICK.  Thank God Joey will back healthy and now he has speed to throw his bombs!!  Go RAVENS!

This might be my favorite pick in the draft so far. Physical, strong, long, big, athletic, AND productive.

I agree. I really like this pick. I think Bronson could do some real damage.

I'm not attacking you or your opinion, just the idea of a guy getting drafted too early. Can you or anyone else please explain how anyone of us can say what a guy's value is to the "Ravens"? Nobody knows where these players are rated on their draft board or what they saw in these players to fall in love with them.

Analyst and other media outlets do "mock drafts" for a reason, because they don't know what teams are thinking. Now I know there's a rating system that's widely used around the NFL, but again who can really speak to the value of a player go a team. The Ravens could have legitimately had him rated as the top 3-4 DE in the class while others drooled over Buckner.

while I agree with you, and like this pick a lot... a player can be picked too early, regardless of how much you love a guy. For example, had someone actually taken Myles Jack in the top 5, he would have been drafted too early. Now, none of us on the outside would have known so in that example bc he was projected to go that high, but that team could have (and did, Jax) taken another highly rated player in the top 5 and still gotten jack in rd 2.

So, theoretically if the ravens love this guy and were ok taking him in rd 3, but the rest of the nfl wouldn't take him until the 4th/5th round and we could've have gotten him a round later, then yes - there is a possibility he was taken too early.

But, I don't think that was the case here. Our FO, as Decosta shows frequently seem to have a very good pulse on how other teams rate players and where they'll be taken.

If you guys want to know his potential, watch the Fresno State tape. he was dominant

Now he needs to be more consistant but he can add a lot of power on his frame and his motor never stops. he's relentless I love the pick. With the Ravens coach he'll become a very good 5 tech

Truthfully, watch any game he is in and he jumps off the tape.

Excited to have this guy rushing the passer and making plays in the backfield.

You're right, but like you said we don't know as fans. That's one of the things Ozzie and Eric do so well that fans will never be able to do, get a pulse on what other teams are doing.

We as fans don't know what's going on behind those draft doors. It only takes one other team to be in love with the same player you are and you miss out on him. The consensus might be that said player might be available at a later pick but if a team 2 or 3 picks after you loves that player too you won't get him. It's all about value

I'm not a fan of de's who struggle to get low but his ceiling is undeniable. He'll probably be the starter by midseason, I hope his game translates to the NFL well. He's got great bend techniques to turn the corner, I just hope he's powerful enough to not get pushed away from the pocket easily when he plays high.

I think this is another pick that signals us using the 43 much more often. We have always needed the LBs to run it and have lacked those, but with correa we have another piece to that puzzle since I think he's ideal as a 43OLB who bliztes the edge often, and BK is a prototype 43DE on the strong side, we also got a very good hybrid de/olb in Victor ochi who I think will have a huge role by next season and could be another guy who plays DE in the 43.

If BK can bend the edge in the NFL as effectively as he did in college and if he can use that length well, then we could have a real steal. I have my reservations though because he plays very high.

He's an ok prospect to me, he's has disruptive traits and good instincts I just wonder if he can set the edge against NFL tackles, or hold the point against NFL guards. My gut says he's going to be used on the edge but I think he's better putting on 20lb and moving inside.

They had Jack in their lap and blew it.  We need a LB and he would have been a perfect fit.  It's a long term risk but Ozzie blew it.  I hope this kid proves me wrong, doubt it.

I dont think Jack was worth it. For argument's sake, lets say Jack goes on to play 5-6 years. At what level? How will his knee affect his play? Will it effect him mentally, causing him to be wary of damaging it further? Etc etc...No denying his talent, but nobody is a surefire success either. I wouldn't have been upset if we took him, since I'd assume we felt confident his knee isnt an issue

that fresno state tape is unreal. this dude's a monster. non stop motor

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy is the best pick in the entire draft in 3 years. His motor is relentless and reminds me of JJ Watt in terms of how he just doesn't quit ever. His production is another thing I really like about him because he put up numbers you want to see. I think he's on the rise, personally.

Huge Texas fan. When I say Bronson destroy our offense line single handly in 2014, I knew he was going to be a future star. He has only improved since then. He can play all over the defensive line and even play out of the two point. The production is there (10 sacks as a 3-4 DE last year), the size is there (6'6", 285 lbs), the athleticism is there (4.8 40 time). Bronson need to refine his game, but he will be a instant contributor that should be starting sooner rather than later. Kaufusi is really a hybrid 4-3/3-4 defense end (not a dreaded tweener). He has all the speed of a 4-3 DE with all the size and power of a 3-4 DE. He enables us to really pick up and move around our players like we like to do.

Kaufusi is a threat off the edge NOW...TODAY, and if you combine that with his want to, crazy determination, chasing plays twenty yards field, we might really have something.

I like players who don't need a box outlining where they are for you to be able to pick him out. It isn't his size, it is him making plays and looking like the best player on that particular film.

Think of all the potential we have to get after the QB.... suggs,Dumervil, Jernigan, Z. Smith, Kaufusi, Williams, etc.

Kaufusi is really experienced running and executing stunts and is really athletic.

Seems he tried to move to linebacker in his junior year and didn't do well.  Another thing to consider he is 24 so he was playing against much younger players.

Same people who piss and moan when we take a risk on a guy.  Can't please everyone.

Every time I read one of those post I immediately think of Da'Quan Bowers from a few years ago.  Was easily the #1 pick of his draft prior to a serious knee injury (sound familiar).  His time in the NFL was been incredibly unproductive, likely due to never fully recovering.  When the Bucs let him walk, nobody signed him for months until the Bucs did again, likely out of pity.
