Round 2 : Predict the picks

156 posts in this topic

If Spence is there all signs point to him. Robinson, Alexander, Cravens, Billings, etc. would  all be great picks. I'm hoping that Killebrew falls to our 4th and possibly Davotae Booker at our #3.

I'm torn between spence and jack. I'm not as high in Dodd as everyone else. I hope the Browns don't draft jack would hate to see him twice a year. Plus dude competes vs his rivals.

I I think his knee is being overblown. Ravens medical staff know exactly what's up with it so if they do pick him in the second I have no doubt he'll play this year with no problems.

And spence to to me has proven his character concerns are past him. Just by taking all those drugs test voluntary for so many month just proves he is committed to this dream of his.

Maybe in the third round. So many 1st round talent players who can play more than 3 years still on our board. If any medical staff knew he would be able to play he would be off the board. Jack will not come to Baltimore unless he falls like a rock. When asked about how confident he was in his knee he said "To play 3 years in the NFL is above average" that does not give you warm fuzzies inside.

Spence may be the pick if still there. Ravens defensive coaches are high on him. I would be happy to get him.

I think we get A'Shawn Robinson. Not saying it's who I want us to get though.

I have a confession to make:  I like Robinson's highlight reels more than Buckner's.  I know he doesn't generate sacks the same way.  But watch pocket after pocket collapse is just too much fun.  We'd still need a 5-tech to exploit those opportunities.  But I think Robinson is the kind of guy who makes everyone else's job easier.

Robinson or Billings would be great. It isn't really a huge need for us but I think we still go BPA in round 2 with how many talented people are still on the board.

Ravens get spence, Henry, reed or Robinson. And of course Myles jack. Every team passing on him has me actually worried now about his knee but maybe every team thought they could get him in 2nd? Idk. I like Henry as a bit of a dark horse pick. Like Bill polian said if you want a back that makes one cut and powers up field you have a awesome player in Henry. We just got a dancing bear so some smash mouth football wouldn't hurt.

Problem is that Jack is worried about his own knee.  He's got nerve damage, and there's a lot of uncertainty.

Browns - ILB Myles jack

Titans- DE Kevin Dodd

Cowboys -CB Mackenzie Alexander

Chargers- FS T.J. Green

Ravens - CB Sean Davis / HB Derrick Henry / OT Jason Spriggs

Sean Davis is a serious candidate for the Ravens in round three.

Please don't let our two be Reggie ragland.

I'd take Him, Prosise, or Drake in the third. Each possesses eliteness. Our version of a Le' Von Bell, Theres the Receiver right there.

Cleveland: Jason Spriggs, OL

Titans: Myles Jack, LB

Cowboys: Chris Jones or Jarran Reed, DL

Chargers: Cody Whitehair, OL

Ravens: Noah Spence, Edge

Coming into the draft I was very open to grabbing one of the falling Bama defensive players, I mean I like them all but seeing as how we went offense in the first I really hope we don't grab Reed or Robinson I'll dye if we don't grab a pass rusher or corner.

im thinking we end up with Spence, I'm not sure how we view Dodd.

Yeah, I think we are taking one of Spence or Dodd and I think we have Spence ahead of Dodd. I like Dodd a lot as well, it's just I like Spence a bit more. I'll be happy with both, and I hope we have our choice of either at 36.

Interesting and logical.  But Jack won't go there. They will acquire him later.

Agreed. Somewhat. I don't know how we feel about Spence with the Tunsil snub. He seems to be a fall back plan.

The war room wasn't all jovial with the first pick?

I think it was Stanley that wasn't as jovial or excited as some folks wanted him to be.

I think he might have been as confused as we were.  I'm okay waiting a few weeks for him to get settled a little more, and less caught up in the moment.

A Ravens defensive coach said they will go Spence if he's there at 36, but this was before Dodd fell. If both are there at 36, Ozzie will be a very happy man.
