I know we need defensive help but I want Tunsil , who will be a perennial Pro Bowler . 

The Ravens do to and if he's available I will be shocked if they don't pick him.

As far as getting Tunsil goes we have two things to worry about - the Chargers could take him and the Jags could trade back with someone who wants him, I've been saying watch out for the Giants but there are a few teams that could move up for him.

At the start of draft season we were all like "I LOVE Bosa but he won't be available at our pick so I guess it's either VHIII or Ramsey :(". Now not only will he probably be available but we may pass for an even better player...the draft changes so much and yet I'm always sort of surprised looking back.

I say it's more and more likely that we draft Joey Bosa, or trade down and get a different pass rusher.

Oh yeah, I just want to say that it has been a fun experience with the rest of the forum members going through the motions of evaluating players, deciding the probability of one player landing here over another and whatnot. I believe we are the most dedicated and exciting fans in the league so let's all make some noise tonight wherever we watch the draft!

Basically how I feel at this point is: give me Tunsil or Bosa or tradeback, no thanks on Buckner (good player but his ceiling isn't too high and this draft is loaded with Dlineman, we can get one later) or Jack (too risky at 6 and I've never been a huge fan anyway - I didn't think he was worth being taken at 6 even before the most recent news about his injury) and Ramsey will be long gone. No one else is worth #6, just trade back and collect some trade ammo.

 

But I have this sinking feeling that we'll be taking home Stanley...

Possibility, but I don't consider that a likely one. 

I would think Tunsil, Bosa and Ramsey would have to all be taken from 3-5 AND we wouldn't be able to find a trade partner for us to even consider Elliott at #6.

If Elliott gets taken at #6, I'd bet its by a team that's not the Ravens. Teams like Giants/Dolphins could be teams wanting to come up for that.

I hope your right my friend. Don't get me wrong I think Elliott is talented but we already have 5 guys at RB and we have some glaring needs both on the defense and O-Line.

Yes to Bosa,Ramsey,Jack(even though the latest news on his knee kind of scares me) or Buckner.NO TO TUNSIL AND ELLIOT!We have our left tackle in place already and there is no reason to take a RB this high.Especially since he's not the next Adrian Peterson.Our first rounder needs to be the best defensive player that falls in our lap.

Dallas reports are saying they're taking either Ramsey or Elliott, with Ramsey being #1 on their board.

My guess is we will get our pick of whichever OT we want, and might have a shot at landing Bosa as well, though him going to Jacksonville makes perfect sense also.

They also need (and I mean, NEED) OT badly. If they have any respect for Rivers, they gotta go with Tunsil or Stanley.

I'm not a fan of Buckner. I hope for Bosa, Ramsey or Tunsil. I am starting to get worried about Jack, but I'd understand if Oz takes the gamble. He's special, when healthy. I'm against a RB pick in the top 10, even for someone as talented as Elliot.

I don't know, I'm still thinking Jags will trade back with a team that wants Tunsil and I'm still not sold on Stanley at 6. Honestly if it shakes up like this then I'm pulling for either Bosa or trade back

I mean, sort of.

They've got a pretty good RT in Barksdale, and its just a question of durability with Dunlap. 

Their need for a LT is pretty much identical to ours... both have an overpaid LT who is good when he plays but durability is a concern. They, like us, will have to decide if that need to trumps the massive need for defensive help that they also have.

Ravens and Chargers in many ways are mirror images of each other in terms of needs.

Not really, they just restructured Dunlap. They could look to replace him but safety is a much bigger need
