Same as our other poll but this is under the assumption we trade back with the Titans pick up their early 2nd and get the 16th overall pick..

I like this question.  Thank you for starting the thread.

I think we trade back with someone in mind.  I think Hensley is credible this time:  we do it to get a pass rusher if/when Bosa is gone.  So I think Lawson will be there, and is the guy we want.   I picked him for both.

emphasis on the if it occurs, not if you want it to occur. I tend to agree though, as long as we have a shot at Tunsil, Ramsey, Bosa, or Stanley I would rather stay. Which by my accounts we are assured to.

Dodd Spence and Lawson for both categories. I also picked Floyd because we are reportedly interested and I do like floyd.

My personal favorite would be dodd.

Yeah I see a drop between the guys available at 6 and the guys available here. This team needs impact players above all else. If we make a move down, it better be for something good and we better have someone in mind. If I had to picks someone of this group probably Dodd although I am not exactly sold on the guy either.

I like Dodd as well he is raw but has some of the highest potential in this class. The one thing I do hate is his age. He is already 24 I believe. I wouldn't mind Floyd at 15 if he is still there. I think he will be great just needs more weight and needs to hit the weight room.

Dodd is 23 and will be 24 before the season begins.

Agreed..However I am excited about the value I am expecting to see in the mid first for pass rushers (any of Dodd, Lawson, Floyd, or Spence is solid) and then we have two picks to start the 2nd round and should get some good value at CB there and fill the other pick with BPA/whoever drops. It is an interesting thought as we could have something like Tunsil & Kendall Fuller if we stay...if we trade back we could get something like Dodd, Fuller and Vernon Butler....I would be heavily enticed by that second option

I guess Floyd is in the same boat looking it up. Ugh I want Bosa he is 20 and is the best in this class. I hope he falls to 6.

If we happen to move back (and I'm not a fan of it), then I think Lawson is the one that comes into play the most.  I'd guess William Jackson and Noah Spence come heavily in play as well.

I'd be surprised if Lawson is there at 15. I think he goes top-10 or 11, honestly.

Ozzie is getting Joe some help. One way or another

The best help he can get him right now is to draft Laremy Tiunsil with our #6 pick if available.

Yeah I could see it, but I do consider it unlikely for what it's worth.

Yeah. I think we'd be looking at Spence or Dodd. Spence is easily one of the best pass rushers in this class.

I like Floyds tape but I dont think hes ever going to be a three down defender. I would go with Spence or Dodd.

I have fallen in the same boat. I think if we trade back he is the guy we take and is likely there for the taking. Think he would be in a good environment with guys like Doom and Suggs.

Also given how the board falls...The only way I see this trade occurring is if we are on the board and Tunsil is there--as that is why the Titans will trade up, we may be able to fleece a little more out of them knowing the value of the pick is more than the draft value chart suggests. Which would be nice and I really think if we had three picks within the first 36 picks we should be able to find a new core for our D to go along with CJ, Timmy, and Brandon Williams

Maybe it's just me, but I don't really understand why people (and especially Mayock) think we would trade back if what is believed to be the #1 prospect in the draft is available.  Sure, you can get extra picks.  But you can also get a top flight talent.  Of course, all of this is moot if we're not high on Tunsil, which is something that's impossbile to know right now.  I just don't see why we'd pass up the #1 pick.  Quality over quantity.  I just think too many people are getting too caught up in the fact that the Ravens have stockpiled in the past.

Anywhere from 15 on, there is a legit possibility that someone we consider there actually ends up slipping to our next pick, especially if we also get 33 in the deal. Would be great to get two of these guys, and I would take that over any non-Ramsey/Bosa/Tunsil at six. Maybe even over one of those guys. Could be interesting.

I agree quality over quantity. We have a history of trading back but that is because we were drafting mid to late 20's. Multiple picks back there give you a higher chance of getting a starter. I think we stay put to be honest I do not buy these trade back rumors unless we get a lot out of it.

I like Casserly's explanation on a possible trade back, "it doesn't happen unless they get a 1st for next year".

Wouldn't it be sweet if we traded back and ended up with Stanley, instead of staying put and drafting him?

That's the type of scenario where I think a trade actually makes sense.  If you can move back, still get the guy you want, and pick up extra pick(s), that's a no brainer.

Yea I'm definitely on board with this. There's no way I want to trade back unless the package includes a future 1st. If Bosa, Ramse, and Tunsil are gone I'm staying put and picking Elliot.

Exactly. If Tunsil is there at six and we trade back, I'll be getting drunk tonight by myself.

I like the idea of trading back but to 15th..

I wanted us to trade back for months and it is a real possibility now but I don't feel good about it. Guess I am not a gm material.

No WRs at first round please!
