Maybe ESPN can hire some actual analysts instead of baseless opinion farms... might watch them more if they did

Looks like Skip is leaving ESPN when his contract is up in August, but we're still going to have to hear his continued hatred of the Ravens as he is rumored to be moving to Fox Sports 1

Oddly, he did give us credit numerous times when I didn't think he would.  He thought Suggs deserved the DPOY before he won it.  He thought we got robbed by the Lee Evans catch, somehow he says that should of been a catch.  Gave Joe credit for the SB.  But that show has ran its course, I remember the Cold Pizza days.

First Take, as I knew it, will never be the same.

Spoken like it's a bad thing. :P

Wouldn't make a ton of sense, since the shift is designed towards more "opinion conversation". That's what the industry is demanding. ESPN letting Bayless go is likely a cost cutting maneuver, since they were told to slash costs about a year or two ago because that segment of Disney was struggling with costs. Its why they get rid of guys like Olbermann, Cowherd, Tirico and Bayless.

People stopped watching ESPN for highlights and analysis a long time ago, because you can get that much quicker and faster from hundreds of different outlets.

Why do you think they have like 10 shows that are all the same just with different personalities? Fox Sports is designing their entire network based on this premise.

Damn I really enjoyed First Take as a form of dumb enertainment. Skip and Stephen A to me were great as characters. Don't see how they can replace skip.
