[News] Poll: Who Will Ravens Pick At No. 6?

61 posts in this topic

Haha, seeing the results, I'm afraid it's more "Who would I like to see Ozzie pick" than whose name people actually think will be called :D

"DE Jalen Ramsey" --Now I knew he was versatile, but damn, playing DE at 6'1" and 200 lbs. Impressive! lol

Jack would be my pick if he is still there, if not I would pick up the phone and see if the Titans would give up #15, 43,45 and a 2nd pick next year. I wouldn't do it for anything less..

Here's what I think our draft board should be. This is my opinion.
1: Myles Jack
2: Laremy Tunsil
3: Jalen Ramsey
4: Joey Bosa

I think it'll be Buckner. Tunsil, Bosa, Ramsey going 3, 4, 5. Jack has the knee issue so likely not in consideration. Would rather Ravens go Spence or Floyd, even at 6 but Buckner will be BPA in Ozzie's opinion so he'll be the pick. Hope I'm wrong.

Ezekiel Elliott is my prediction. That's a weapon Ozzie won't pass up.

You know, I have debated this in my mind. I know if we don't select him, we will regret it in 5 yrs when he's a Pro bowl regular. He is clearly a game changer and would carry us to many wins. However, our defense is to depleted, and unfortunately, we need to add there.

ive lost all hope on getting jalen ramsey. I thought the cowboys would get a pass rusher and jags would get myles jack, but after these reports that just came out saying myles jacks knee is separating theres no way they pick him over ramsey :( aw well.. another year of watchin our corners get torched because by the time we pick again in the 2nd round all the top 5 corners will be gone. Another year of boring picks

I would stay put and draft Elliot he's BPA over Buckner for sure.

With 7 picks in the first 4 rounds there is plenty of talent left to fill that need. Rice was a game changer, Elliot will be one too. As much as we need more depth on defense (all the starters are healthy right now) a talent like Elliot doesn't fall our way often. I just don't see Ozzie passing on him if he's there.

Remember Rice, Kruger, Torrey, KO, Jernigan and Maxx were all second round picks. Our future does not depend on our first round pick like many tend to obsess over. Is it important to choose a franchise type player at #6? Of course but I believe Ozzie will make some good picks and some bad but in the end I have faith that he will remind us just how good he is when picking near the top of every round and with 4 fourth rounders to boot.

Since I've been a Lawson promoter, it's nice to see he's in the mix.I'm guessing Ozzie called the Alabama crowd and asked . . " is he for real?", after the National Championship game. I also guess the word came back . "yes he is".

so we draft neef over best player available ? i would only draft two players at 6 which are E. Elliot and L. Floyd or maybe Ramsey if some how he fell which highly doubt...95% chance he is gone by then
..

I know what you mean. It sucks. I want Ramsey too. I wish we could trade up with the Chargers to get him but l doubt Ozzie would give up a 3rd Rounder. Ozzie loves his picks. ☹️

Joe Flaco needs good protection to have time to throw. Good protection also means he has less chance to be injured. Good offensive line always has been critical to Ravens's success. So it is between Tunsil and Stanley. Whoever is still avaiable at no. 6, that's what they pick.

More likely, they are going to pick Stanley.

I am actually happy with our secondary. I know they are not the best in the league but they are all coming back healthy and have all played with each other before, chemistry is a main contribute when it comes to a great Defense. Dont forget we hired Leslie Frasier as our DB coach, unlike Pees he knows how to properly coach Defensive Backs. Hiring him will also allow Pees to focus more on the game plan, while also pushing him to succeed knowing that his job is on the line.

The main thing we lacked last year was any kind of pass rush. If we fix that in the draft we will have a top 5 Defense.

Ideal pick would be Bosa, I think he fits what the Ravens need best. But he probably will be gone.I think Tunsil may be the guy.

Bosa's been sliding, i wouldn't be surprised if he's available

Jalen Ramsey is not the end all be all to the Ravens defense. Just like all of you, i would love to get Ramsey, but it't not like if we don't get him then we have no hope or the first round was a waste.

our backfield is already very crowded, we need to focus on defense. I like the combo of Forsett, Allen, and Taliafarro if he stay's healthy, and even Richardson if he can actually run through a gap

NFL.com has a higher grade on Buckner than Elliott. Buckner-7.23 Elliott-7.09. Buckner would be the BPA not Elliott

You have the second best LB(Jaylon Smith #1) with huge health concerns over the best OT, over the best CB, and over the best pass-rusher. And all of those positions are relatively big needs... interesting.

I picked Elliott as that's who I've been pushing even when he wasn't a popular pick, but what's becoming more apparent is that Dallas might take him first.  This is Mayock's pick, but I'm sure I've also seen it elsewhere.  With Mcfadden gone they could use his versatility and also take pressure off Romo.  Something else Mayock said and I think he might be right about is Jerry Jones is having visions of the Emmit Smith days and wants to bring that era back with Elliott.  Hope I'm wrong.  I really want Zeke.
