[News] Jersey Numbers Assigned To New Ravens

I see Weddle has number 32. That's Mike Curtis' "the Animal" old number when he commanded fear in the NFL as a middle linebacker. We hope Weddle can prove worthy to wear that number.

Mike Curtis played with the Baltimore Colts.

Why Mike Wallace not wearing #17? Does somebody have #17? It might be Butler l believe but Wallace should ask him to get his number so he could remind himself when he was with the Steelers and not the Vikings and plus to show off his number to remind the Steelers. LOL ?

My guess is Wallace might just wait to see what the roster looks like. Butler is one of the fringe players and not a guaranteed lock to make the roster. Being on the team for several years now, he needs to step up his game to the next level. Still I'll be rooting for him to break through.

Wouldn't be surprised if they switch numbers or Butler gives up the #17 by the deadline

Wallace was the only free-agent addition to change numbers. He has worn No. 17 with the Vikings, Dolphins and Steelers, but that number was already taken in Baltimore by receiver Jeremy Butler.

More exactly, Wallace, indeed, wore #17 in Pittsburgh, but in Miami and Minnesota he had jersey #11. (Tannehill is #17 in Miami). That's why some of us were worried that he'd take Aiken's #11. Glad he didn't.

When the heck are we going to retire #75, 52, or even 20? I know we should wait for a perfect time, but let's get the crowd pumped for the season opener and retire #75, especially since he is already in the HoF and no one would ever think of asking for it anyways. Just my thoughts

I don't think line backers can wear #32

He wore 30 in college for three and out, and moot point anyway because I don't think a linebacker can wear numbers in the 30's. I know they can wear numbers in the 40's if they want.

i was wondering about the numbers.  How about this, Wallace will score 12 receiving TDs in honor of the number.

Jack's knee will be the key factor that keeps him from being drafted by the Ravens.

Jack would be a perfect fit , but we dont know about his knee. And every Ravens fan had enough of injured players last year. Bosa has questions about his off season problems. Tunsil i sgood but i would not want to take an OL at no. . Deforest Buckner may be the best pick for us at 6. Cant wait till Thursday.

There is no way on earth a rookie can take a veteran's number in the NFL if the vet doesn't approve...

Somehow I think Jack won't be Ozzie's pick even if he's available when we're on the clock. After Perriman, I doubt they will roll the dice on a potential injury case for the first round pick two seasons in a row...
