Indians are one game away from a 4-0 sweep and a trip to the World Series. Cubs/Dodgers are tied at 1-1 after 2 games.

I'm going for the dodgers but the cubs seem like a team of destiny even though kershaw has come alive.

My dream matchup would be Cubs-Indians.  Between the 2 teams its been I think 176 years since their last world series titles.

Got your wish, the 2016 World Series kicks offs in Cleveland on Tuesday between the Indians and Cubs.

The Cubs are back in the World Series for the first time since 1945, but they haven't won one since 1908. The Indians are back in it for the first time since 1997 and seeking their first title since 1948. It took 52 years for Cleveland to finally win a Major Sports Championship when the Cavs won the NBA Finals back in the Summer. Now Cleveland has a chance to win 2 Major Sports Championships in the same year. One drought is going to end by the end of the Series, but it will be fun to watch to see whose drought ends.

And now I officially don't care who wins. I like Jake Arrieta and Andrew Miller, so either of them getting a ring is fine by me.

I want cleveland to still win 6 games i'll say

I don't want to see another Cleveland team win. If Indians win then i guarantee you The Browns will go to the Super Bowl next year

Besides the Browns good year for Cleveland sports

Yep, and what a way for the Indians to start the World Series off. A 6-0 shut out to set the stage for the rest of the series.

So Aretta and Strop get to play in the World Series and other former O's players did ever since Buck took over. You see its the Buck Showalter curse. The O's will never play an inning in the World Series as long Buck is still in Baltimore. Oh those were the good old days

Indians are now up 3-1 and one game away from bringing Cleveland it's second Championship to the city in under 6 months.

sticking to my indians in 6 prediction

Yep, thinking Cubs win tomorrow so the Indians can win on Monday and celebrate the World Series victory in Cleveland.

Agreed. I think they torch arrieta and his inconsistency in cleveland. But if lester has another bad pickoff baserunners game it can end tomorrow. Tito is such a great coach and kluber lindor and miller have been immense. Will be nice to see coco end his career with another ring.

So, more disappointing season? The 2015-2016 Warriors or the 2016 Cubs?

Warriors were up 3-1 and had 73 wins. I'll give it to them

I don't know that the Warriors had the same hype as the Cubs going in. The Cubs were literally always the number one team in power rankings. I'm not sure they ever moved from one.

Were the Warriors any different? They were defending champs and started the season 24-0. People were arguing that they were the best team all time. I haven't heard any comps with the Cubs to one of the great teams all time.

I just think of the expectations coming into the season that the Cubs were deemed the best team in the MLB by everyone, deemed the winners of the offseason, deemed the World Series favorite, and essentially had this donned on them as a World Series or bust.

Going into the season, I don't think there was the same hype around GS. during the season? Absolutely. Not necessarily before, though.

What is the best ever BB team, though?

1927 Yankees, to the above. That lineup is scary...

Yeah that is true, people before the season were wondering what a healthy Cavs team could do to them so in that regard probably the Cubs. I do think during the season the Warriors hype surpassed them though.

96 Bulls are my personal best but there are other teams that have a good case, I know some Lakers teams in the 80s were scary good.

27 Yankees were scary

The Cubs take the win at Wrigley Field to bring the series to 3-2, and now the series heads back to Cleveland. Wonder who had more viewers, Sunday Night Football or Indians/Cubs.

I know after the game ended, the SNF announcers welcomed the people who were watching the game
