That was definantly an elite stretch of games but Joe is not elite. We love him because he's one of the best "non elite" Qbs and is the best we've ever had. Elite QBs the past 10 years were Rodgers Brees Manning and Brady in no specific order. The next best 10 have all had stretches where they seem elite and stretches where they seem pedestrian.

Totally agree with your assesment.

 

Elite QB to me means you have a chance to win any game because of his presence alone regardless of WRs Oline or whatever. Elite to me means your a top 5 QB every year and top 10 on a bad year. Elite means when your pass catchers leave they struggle to replicate that sucess. Elite means you make in game adjustments and almost always have a better second half than first. Elite is all of that together. Otherwise your just a very good QB.

Well said and good/very good is how I would describe flacco. Elite in my eyes is a future HOF'er

I'm glad to have flacco but he ain't there yet and that's not a bad thing. We will have a balanced team all around and the potential of beating any team

just going by the stat's alone,FLACCO'S not even semi ELITE,with another year in this offense,MATT SHAUB will be a more ELITE qb.TYROD TAYLOR is leaps and bounds a better qb. then FLACCO.MAT STAFFORD on a way worse team was a better qb. then FLACCO.i'd love to see us take a qb. as early as possible in this draft or a trade for STAFFORD.i'm tired of telling myself,give it another year,FLACCO will be ELITE,it's not going to happen,sorry RAVEN'S fan's.

Opinions vary dirty. Many here don't label flacco elite but claiming tyrod or Matt is better is comical. If tyrod was sooo good why didn't he win the starting gig?
