Just to clarify, Monroe is a gym rat and I'm sure he's in shape and ready to go. The spamming is annoying, though, I cannot ignore that.

Apparently Monroe didn't show up to the open portion of mandatory minicamp today.  I don't know if that's his choice or the team's to keep him away, but it doesn't bode well for his future.

Hmmmm... not sure how i feel about it.

His public comments and whatnot are growing tiring... but he is good depth and insurance. I guess the situation must be pretty bad behind closed doors, or someones reached out and made us an acceptable offer.

Since it is very early in the OTAs' and the fact that every team out there knows that he is likely going to be cut or released if a trade doesn't happen, only teams that are in the back end of the draft line will be vying for his services. The teams that picked in the top 10 will hope he can clear waivers and fall to them. So, I really don't expect a good trade for us. In fact, if we get a 5/6th round pick we'll be lucky. But, who knows how badly teams are in need of a quality LT without too much in terms of salary. That may be worth a 4th round pick if Ozzie and Eric are able to leverage it.

I agree. He is like a bone collector. He wants to keep changing teams by collecting guaranteed money along the way, pretending to be hurt and not suiting up thereby conserving his body for more team guaranteed money from a few other teams before he hangs it up. A total fraud.

I don't see any benefit in cutting monroe. We don't have much quality in our O line...when hes healthy he is our 2nd best linesman. the rest are unproven or average. I'm not sold on wagner, he might have just been a one year wonder.

I don't think he'll be cut outright as we're on the hook for $8.7 mil. this year whether he's here or not. We'll get something worthwhile for him, hopefully at least a couple of nice fat draft picks. No doubt we're moving on from Eugene though.

I just saw on FB that Monroe was held out today as the Ravens get their trade situation worked out. 

So it does seem something may happen in a few days or so. Just wonder what teams are calling.

Looking around the league, I see the Chiefs who declined Eric Fisher's fifth year option. Vikings seem not happy with Matt Kalil, Giants passed on Tunsil and need a Left Tackle. Seattle doesn't have anyone to replace Okung, Rams offensive line is a mess.

If there are teams in need of Monroe now and they are only willing to part with a 6 or a 7, I see no reason we shouldn't wait to see if an injury, or the immediacy of a fast approaching season might force a more equitable trade (from our standpoint).

Forgot there were two Brandon Marshall's.  Yeah.  Throw him in too.  Mlb, cb, olb and wr fixed for the future.   Con will sign for cheap cause were the Ravens.  Ray Lewis or something
