You guys voted on who would be taken before us and the results are in. Jack, Wentz, and Bosa were the winners. The Rams trade threw a wrench in things but we can go off the somewhat realistic basis that the Browns wait until round 2 to get a QB. Not much to say that hasn't already been said.

@Maryland suggested to do a question about how you guys think the Ravens will go with this pick which should be interesting to monitor.

I was also curious about how people would consider trading our pick and what sort of stance they would have on it if their board fell this way.

If the draft played out with all these players being gone to me the only players I'm even considering are VH3 and Zeke. I think Zeke could be an absolute game changer for us so that would be my pick.

I really would like to trade back and draft Dodd. I have a really good feeling about him as a prospect. I can't quantify it with facts but I just feel like he'll be better than Bosa, although I'm not sure I'd pass on Bosa just for the sake of it. But if Bosa is gone that's not a hard choice.

Even if this scenario played itself out, I think we'd still be in great shape with either VH3 or Elliott because of what they both have to offer.  With VH3 we'd be getting a possible turnover machine that we've been missing .  Could very well make the difference in the outcome of some games and Elliott with his speed and vision would open up our offense and have opposing DCs scratching their heads.  Especially if Perriman comes back along with Wallace and our TE crew.  We would truly be an offense to be reckoned with.  I'd be happy with either of the two, but prefer Elliott.  Would be disappointed if we took Buckner over either of them and would then rather trade down.

Hargreaves is certainly the bigger need and I do admire his finesse and technique. I believe he would be a very solid pick, but deep down i think we all know one thing, Ozzie has the greatest gift of throwing flaming curve balls at us on draft day, often times leaving us puzzled. For that reason, I see Elliot being the pick. Make no mistake about it, Elliot is a top 5 talent on anyone's board, where Hargreaves is top 10. I am not saying I like Elliot more, but Oz might see more value and snag him. But if you think about it, our offensive balance would be perfect. We would have ZeKe, Buck, and Forsett, all backs with their own niches that would keep each other fresh through the 4th quarter, on top of two deep threats in perriman and Wallace. Reliable hands in the middle of the field with Aiken and Smith, then possibly Pitta, Wallace, Gilmore, and Maxx getting reps and maximizing TE heavy sets. Our Red Zone nightmares would be over i feel.

I see what your saying, I just cant see us drafting a RB this high with all our needs on defense.  I wont argue that Elliot is better at his position than VH3 is, I just think the offense was far better than the defense, we weren't having that much trouble moving the ball, even without a deep threat.  The defense finished 23rd for the entire season in passing yards, that's also with us becoming one of the best defenses over the 2nd half of the year.

By no means am I saying I am happy with the RBs on our roster, I don't think we have that playmaker we need, some people really like Allen, I see just another guy.  I just cant for the life of me see us using the 6th pick on him, if we were picking closer to 20, I could see it, but I would be willing to bet that he is a top ten pick.
