Spitfire's Mock Draft

23 posts in this topic

I haven't had much time to do a whole lot of scouting this year as I've done in the past, but I really like some of the prospects in the draft this year. I can't wait for the draft to start up on April 28th, so here's my quick little mock draft for us.

Round One:

1. Los Angeles Rams (via Tennessee): QB - Jared Goff

2. Cleveland Browns: QB - Carson Wentz

3. San Diego Chargers: OT - Laremy Tunsil

4. Dallas Cowboys: DE - Joey Bosa

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: DB - Jalen Ramsey

6. Baltimore Ravens: LB - Myles Jack

Round Two:

36. Baltimore Ravens: DE - Noah Spence

Round Three:

70. Baltimore Ravens: WR - Sterling Shepard

Round Four:

104. Baltimore Ravens: DB - Sean Davis

130. Baltimore Ravens (via Denver): DE - Charles Tapper

132. Baltimore Ravens (Compensatory): OT - Caleb Benenoch

134. Baltimore Ravens (Compensatory): DT - Sheldon Day

Round Six:

182. Baltimore Ravens: CB - Maurice Canady

209. Baltimore Ravens (Compensatory): RB - Keith Marshall

First 3 rounds seem optimistic but I'd be very happy with it. Shepard has grown on me a good bit I think he goes in the mid 2nd. I LOVE your 4th round.

I think Tapper becomes a stud...

Shepard seems like the perfect guy to break our hearts on draft day. I see him as that sneaky riser who goes higher than you thought he would. It usually happens with WRs.

Shepard reminds me so much of Steve Smith Sr. and he has been in the talks for so long that I agree with thieverycorporation that he is no longer a sleeper wide receiver and I wouldn't be surprised if he was the 3rd wide receiver off the board. If he is there during our 3rd though we better take him.

I like it a lot (jim carey dumb and dumber)

but my favorite is

RB Keith Marshal UGA

I really think he will be better than what we have.

Nice mock. My only concern would be OT. Maybe Jason Spriggs at 3rd?

Shepard is a steal at 3rd but I think we need an OT/G more than we need a WR. Depends on Perriman tho.

Thanks for the feedback on my mock draft. I also think Spence and Shepard might not be at those picks, but hey, it's a possibility and they would be good picks at those spots.

Spence will be gone by first round I think the best option for us at round 2 if available is Artie Burns Miami he's the best CB nobody's talking about could be steal of the draft.

I am almost convinced that Spence does not escape the playoff teams. After Denver's pass rush in the SB. teams will want a valuable pass rusher.

I could easily see Panthers, Packers, Cardinals taking him

I was being pretty optimistic with my 2nd and 3rd round picks, but there's a small chance they could both be available at those spots.

Good draft, I think the Cowboys take Ramsey and the Jags take Myles Jack unfortunately as both those teams have expressed a lot of interest in those players.
