I went a brighter purple bc that seems to be the idea with the whole color rush thing. The jets green is a much lighter, brighter green. Houston's red, Jaguars gold, Carolinas blue, etc... all much brighter than the teams actual color. So I tried to follow suit in the renderings.

The idea behind it is so the NFL can generate sales. We already have the purple jersey so it's nothing new to sell.

Yeah but everybody else is going with straight colors but yet we got to stick out like a sore thumb. I get what you saying but you know if you add the purple pants and brighten the tinge the NFL will get their sales.

I pray this is true. The MD flag looks sick! Then there should be a Raven on the helmet with the flag draped over it.

Honestly, at this point I kind of want the MD flag unis just because a lot of folks outside the state don't get it, find it stupid, think it's ugly, etc.

I'd like to see the yellow swapped for ravens gold, the white swapped for black, and the red swapped for purple, and do it exactly how Maryland does it with the flagged helmet and shoulders. 

 

I would buy it the day they hit stores. Or wait a week or 2 because I do t have the money for it, but you get the point.

 

Edit: just crossed my mind, bank on it... The ravens will do basically what I just said, the white numbers will be turned gold, and we will bring the gold pants back but they will be updated to look gold rather than urine yellow. I'm calling it now. 

 

Unless the color rush rule of "same color head to toe" is a concrete rule.

Whats wrong with sticking out? Of all 32 teams, we are the one that gets a total rehaul for color rush, and it incorporates the MD flag which is honestly beloved by Marylanders, flag pride here is 2nd in the country only to Texas.

Well they just made a video saying the leak wasn't true. EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT US TO THINK. But if it isn't true, I definitely think its gonna be all purple

The NFL is going to want them to do something different, I'd assume.  An all purple jersey doesn't generate any more sales since all that changes are the pants.  This whole color rush thing is there to get some more money rolling in.

I really don't know what more they could do. I could see them introducing an alternate helmet. Just for the love of god anything but all gold.

The helmet thing isn't possible due to the NFL rule for concussions.  They have to use the same helmets all year - they can only change decals.  I don't know what they can do, but I'd be surprised if they didn't do something different than the purple.  Maybe some shoulder/sleeve design?  I don't know.  The Titans and Panthers rocked standard jerseys last year but they were their alternates, not their main jerseys.  Our alternate is the all black which is nothing new.

Damn that's a pretty ridiculous reason for killing all the good throwback unis. I honestly think they go all purple, socks included.
