Okay, so how does everyone buy there tickets once they go on sale? Ticket Master is always a nightmare and it gets bogged down so fast that getting best available tickets is always in the nose bleeds.

NFL Ticket Exchange.  It's the official reseller and tickets are guaranteed.  Click on Gameday at the top of the page or http://www.baltimoreravens.com/gameday/tickets/single-game-tickets.html

Thank you! I seen the site before and wasn't sure if it were reliable or not. Do tickets always go on sale on ticket master before they are available at the box office?

Raise the price on a 5-11 season? Is that really a smart business decision? I bet Ravens don't get picked to get no higher than third place in the divison this season.Athlon was right last year with a third place finish.

Unless season ticket holders are no longer required to purchase exhibition/ practice/ preseason (whatever you want to call them) games - this is an absolute joke.  It is condescending, and insulting, to season ticket holders for the Ravens brass to spin this as having "heard it loud and clear" w/ respect to being forced to buy preseason games.  This change only benefits those who might "walk up" to purchase tickets to a preseason game, or purchase tickets for a preseason game via whatever means directly from the Ravens (via Ticketmaster or at the Stadium).

Yes, it's appreciated that season ticket costs have remained constant for the last 4 years.  But if the cost of the total package is the same - nothing about this tiered system matters to the season ticket holder - they're sticking it to us one way or another.  So no, the Ravens did not hear us "loud and clear" - or at all for that matter.  The whole issue is about being forced to buy tickets for the meaningless preseason games at all  - regardless of the price.  The Ravens have been a model organization since they've been here - but this smacks of arrogance; would have been better off not taking any action at all rather than insult us like this.

I'm pretty sure all teams include the pre season games in the season package. No rise in total package price for 4 years seems pretty fair. Guess they could have left the preseason games at the same price and raised everything 12%. Would that make you feel "un insulted"? Seems to me they take pretty good care of their regular customers.

You could always go with the skins as I'm sure you'd get a better deal over there.  <_<

Not a joke and not insulting.  Many season ticket holders can't attend every game and have to sell a few.  Pre-season games have very little resale value while regular season games go at premium prices.  This makes it better for anyone who has to sell some tickets.

Or you could buy your  tickets on other resale sites that don't have minimum price floors like Ticketmaster's ticket exchange and take your changes.  About Danny's Boys, once he gets a new stadium I predict the fans who want season tickets in his new palace, better save up for PSL.

Well, yes, because the price of the ticket doesn't necessarily correlate with the record on the field.

Simply supply/demand.

1. Obviously, action is better than no action, since they did what all season ticket holders wanted... reduce the price of the preseason games. Arrogant or not, your wallet will be better off under this model.

2. For like the 1 billionth time on these boards, its a simple case of supply and demand.

Ask yourself this... if you sold a product for X dollars, and there was a finite quantity of those products that could be sold, and you sold 100% of those products every single year... why would you lower the price? To be a nice guy?

Danny has been fleecing his customers for years.

Preseason games aren't Blacked out anymore like it was during the old days. I remember i could only watch the Colts on tape at 11PM when they played at Memorial Stadium. NFL should start blacking out preseason games when the game isn't sold out in 72 hours. That'll make fans come out to the stadium

No it won't. It'll just make people not watch the game. NFL Network will also show it like 1-2 days later.

The blackout rules have long since been outdated and have mostly been wiped away anyway. They don't even accomplish anything.
