[News] Baltimore Ravens Announce 2016 Schedule

54 posts in this topic

Im tired of playing the Bengals the last game of the season...switch it up will ya. Besides that I think we will surprise a lot of teams this year with a big bounce back season. With the additions we've made, now we have more speed, more targets, and a smarter secondary. I'm excited to see what we will do this year.

I'm okay with this schedule, can't wait for the Pittsburgh game after the bye. I'll be there in Jacksonville!

I am super excited about this season and schedule! But I am upset that we only have two prime time games, well three with the Steelers on Christmas, but still. The final stretch will be brutal, but hopefully by that time our vets will be healthy again and our rookies will be comfortable! I'll be there for the season opener no doubt

I see no reason why we cannot win 10-11 games this season. In fact, after seeing this schedule I want to expect it. Let's go win 11 this year and turn it around!

Between Week 11-17 that's a tough stretch. They should've had one of those division games Steelers and Bengals early and one late. Now they have to play them twice between those weeks then we always play at Cincinnati to end the season. Then we got New England which they get hot around that time as well. I hope those weeks won't cost us the playoffs. We got to start off fast.

If Ravens are healthy then they should win 9 games easily. 2-Browns, 1-Steelers, 1-Raiders,1-Jaguars,1-Jets,1-Bills,1-Dolphins,1-Eagles. The rest are Washington, Giants, Cowboys, Patriots, 2- Bengals, Steelers. If Ravens can go at least 2-5 in those seven games then that's 11-5 and in the playoffs. The key will be defense home field which is vey possible given the teams they face and at least split in the division.

i'm sorry to say but I hate this damn schedule! Not a fan of just TWO primetime games with one of those being against Cleveland!! Of all the teams on our schedule we play them in primtime! WOW NFL Thanks!! Not! Do Like The Pitt game on Christmas but would be better if in Baltimore! Also WHY...WHY Once Agin Do We end The Reg Season In CIncy!!! COME ON MAN!!!! Very tough second half stretch but I really see no reason why we can't win 11-12 games!

As much as I hate the steelers, this game against babybrady and billicheat has me more focus to kick some butt. Again they get to play at home, wow!!

The home away outside of the division is based on the position you finish. Patriot always win their division so they get the home game against us. 2012 we played them at home cause 2011 we won the division. The last 4 are tough on PAPER. The games against Bengals and Steelers could determine playoff berth and I think it will take 11 games to get in. However, if the Ravens are a good team, then I think they have 11 wins before week 14. Also I think the Bengals take a step back. A lot of analyst on NFL network are predicting Steelers as a Superbowl team which is the kiss of doom.

Really don't like it especially having two NFL Network games. I hate buying NFL Network.

There is so many streaming options now it shouldn't be that big of an issue

Pitt gets Cincy when Burfict is suspended, we don't have a SNF only MNF game and our Thursday game is on NFL network, not CBS or NBC....

This schedule is awesome. 7 very winnable games headed into the bye... and then we get the Steelers at home coming off the bye. There's some difficult games later in the season, but if we do what we're supposed to and get off to a hot start, we should have the playoffs near locked up by the time we hit the hard stretch. So if we can just pull out a couple games late then 9-7, 10-6 should be easy to get if not 11-5 to 12-4. Also, the fact that we only leave the east coast once is awesome... and we play the NY teams back-to-back so the 2nd game wont feel as much like an away game. The biggest question with the schedule is really Oakland, Jax, and the Giants... 3 games that I would normally expect to win - but they also could be vastly improved and be very difficult games. I think those 3 games will ultimately decide if we make the playoffs. If we go 3-0 or 2-1 in them, we're in. 1-2 or 0-3 and we're out.

This is not accurate.

1. We play on a rotation with each division in the AFC every three years, so the reason we play in NE this year is because we played them at home in 2013... the last time we played the AFC East on rotation.

2. If we play the Pats in non-rotation years, its because we both finished in the same position in the standings in our respective division.

Us playing them at home in 2012 because we won our division in 2011 isn't true, because the Patriots also won their division in 2011. That's the only possible way we could have played them. The home/away slate for the two "standings based" games is largely "random" in some ways, and there's really no set formula for determining home/away of those games.

why in the world we go to fox borough again?

Because we play the AFC East on rotation, and we hosted them in 2013, the last time we played them on rotation.

1. Why would you want Primetime games? Doesn't do the team one lick of good. Plus, we were 5-11 last season and we aren't a great TV draw, so why on Earth would the NFL give us MORE primetime games? Makes no sense for anybody.

2. Pretty much every team in the league plays a Thursday night game, and the NFL starting emphasizing these games more towards divisional games (generally more competitive and less travel for both teams). So, knowing that, isn't Cleveland literally the best option? Why on Earth would you want to play Pittsburgh or Cincinnati on a short week?

That's good news. 13 1pm Sunday games is just fine with me.

If you want to be technical about it, we really have three "primetime" games, since the Christmas game in Pittsburgh is the only game on at that time. We are only one of two games on that day.

Honestly looking at the beginning at our schedule I see No reason why by the time we face PItt on the 9th after our bye why we should be 5-2 or 6-1 at all! We can do it!!
