The NFL puts bad games on Thursday all of the time. They do it pretty often, actually.

you would think with all the nail biters we had last year we would get more prime time games.

if we kick butt in the first half of the season we could always get flexed into a third (unlikely but possible).

Plus, they emphasize division games.

So why would we want to play Pittsburgh or Cincinnati on a short week?

Cleveland is pretty much the best option for whats in our best interest.

I don't get the obsession from fans with Primetime games. Whats the goal there? We were a 5-11 team and we haven't sold well from a national perspective since Ray left... why would the NFL want us to be in the spotlight?

we're not making the playoffs until 2017 / 2018

Sad, but I agree with you. This should year will be called recovery year. Steve is going to regret coming back.

Ravens fans that live outside the Balitmore area appreciate the primetime games because they are more likely to actually be able to watch the game! Without the NFL sunday ticket you usually have to go to a bar and drop $100 just to watch it.

If you're going to a Bar and spending $100 to watch the game, then you'd be better off buying Sunday Ticket.

Don't even need that.

Beginning last season, they sell the Ticket to online consumers to stream over the internet and you aren't requiring to have a DirecTv subscription or a dish.

Costs between $200-400 for a season. At 16 games, that's $25 per Ravens game. Most likely cheaper than any bar tab to watch a game.
