2016 NFL Schedule

According to NFL leaks on Twitter, most games week 15 will be on Saturday, Dec 24, instead of on Christmas. Interesting, although I don't know if that's reliable.

Unless I'm mistaken, most games in week one are a rivalry, so that isn't terribly likely.

We didn't have a rivalry with the Broncos yet we played them last year. If they did need a rivalry or a story line though,Rex Ryan and Tyrod Taylor makes the Bills an interesting matchup for week one and a rematch game from the shootout from last season could make the raiders game an interesting game.Thats the reason I picked those two games.

Wow. No SNF games, no home MNF, only 2 games in primetime, at Steelers on Christmas, and finishing at Bengals? Did we make someone mad?

Yea, I'm a little upset that we don't have an SNF game. That's my favorite prime time slot. Didn't realize that Steelers game is on Christmas. Guess I'll just ask for a win this year.

Going to try to get a ticket to the Battle of the Beltways to see the Ravens take on Danny's Boys at the Vault if the price is right.

At least we get a 2 week stay in New Jersey facing the Giants & Jets back to back, like that. Completely hate that again we are closing the season in week 17 against the Bengals! Why is the NFL obsessed with the Ravens & Bengals facing off in week 17? Have we ever played the Bengals in week 17 in Baltimore?

Patriots vs Ravens on MNF? Boy does that bring back some memories of being at that game in 2007.

Other Thoughts:

- Gotta love Ravens @ Steelers on Christmas. Hopefully we can spoil their Christmas by locking up the division that night beating them.

- That opening stretch doesn't seem like much but we need to finish 3-1 because conference record will mean so much at the end of the season. 4 straight AFC non divisional opponents with at least 1(Raiders) being a threat to the Wild Card battle.

- Speaking of playoff seeding, that week 14 game against the Patriots will mean a lot if we can bounce back and be in a spot to potentially get a Bye. I can see why the NFL put this game late, playoff seeding implications late in the year.

I wanna say in 2014 we finished at home vs the Bengals.  Don't quote me on that though.

I swear to [Deity] if we finish the season at the Bengals again, I'm watching the season under protest

I've got bad news for you...

First 12 weeks of the schedule don't seem too bad while the last 4 are pretty tough. Hopefully we can get to a good start this year and propel ourselves to the postseason.

Love the mid-season bye and the schedule is not that bad looking either boy its getting closer. Draft in a couple of weeks and then off-season workouts, minicamps and training camps then pre-season and roster cut backs then it begins. Cant wait. GO RAVENS.......

I think starting off 5-0, as early as this is, isn't out of the question. I think we head into the bye at 5-2 or 6-1. I think we end the year with 4 to 6 more wins. I have a feeling that the last 2 games will make or break our season.

Open at home.  Bye falls midway just before our Sunday/Thursday sequence. 13 games at 1:00 is kinda odd, but allows for consistency in preparation. patsies on Monday night.  Hopefully we have the division wrapped up before the final two games(one can hope!).  All in all pretty decent.

Also for those complaining about prime time games, there are only 2 games being played on Christmas this year with it being us and the Steelers along with Denver playing Kansas City later in the evening. Everyone else is playing the 24th outside of the Monday night game. We get a Christmas game with the Steelers and I would imagine a lot of people are going to be watching
