The Rams NEED a QB and have to move above the Niners to get Goff or Lynch, they also have the 2nd round ammo to trade with us.

*sigh*

1. Goff

2. Wentz

3. Tunsil

4. Ramsey

5. Bosa

Would love to trade with Dallas for Ramsey in this scenerio. If we can't, I'll happily settle with Jack, Bosa or Hargreaves.

Were in excellent position.

Ok now I'm fairly certain both QB's go before us.

If the Browns are stupid enough to stick with RG3 then they're in the position to sell their pick to the 49ers or Eagles or whoever wants the #2 QB, the haul would be worth more than any single defender.

They were stupid enough to fork over 7mil for him i'm guessing he's they're guy until Round2. Ramsey makes perfect sense if they pick at #2.

I think they might take the second QB in the draft and sit him behind RG3 fro a season. If not they'll trade out of it for more picks.

Serious question, would you choose Ramsey over a haul like the ones the Titans got?

If you are hinting at them trading out then it will likely have to be done on draft day contingent upon what QB the Rams select.

It's almost rhetorical... but the Browns have done dumber things.

You can really smell the desperation this year, like you said before the smart money is to get Lynch but there isn't a lot of that going around lately.

I'd be hard pressed to give basically 2 drafts even for a quarterback.

You won't be winning a lot if you don't have a QB.

On the subject of the Rams and their move to trade up...remember that they only invested two drafts into the QB. Yes, it's true that they made a large investment, but consider some things here:

1. The franchise just moved to LA and they frankly need to win and need some excitement. I recall saying this to members here before the move that it made sense for LA to trade up for a QB and I don't like to brag but I do feel vindicated here after arguing a bit with a few members on the likelihood of the move.

2. To anyone questioning the move, remember that the Rams don't have a ton of needs really outside of QB. Their defense is really stacked, and they need OL & WR but both can be had easier in the later-rounds than a QB.

I don't hate the trade for the Rams but they will have to Hit on an O-lineman and WR and will need Robinson to make a big leap unless they luck into a LT. I do like that defense though and they have Gurley to help take the load off but they need more around a QB on offense who they are investing that much into

I voted for Goff, Wentz and Jack. I could see either one QB going before us or two, but I thought I'd be an Optimist Prime.

be-an-optimist-prime-4756-1283979887-3.j

I could see the Chargers, Cowboys and Jags all loving Jack over Bosa, so he made up the third spot. I actually don't know who I want us to take between Jack and Bosa, I'm probably leaning towards Bosa atm.

I guess now I'm thinking it goes...

QB

QB

Tunsil

Ramsey

Jack

...and then I don't know who I really want here, so I'll let Oz pick for me

But you can't be certain the Browns take a QB, and frankly, I'm not ruling-out the Ravens trading up with Dallas for Tunsil or Ramsey (whichever one SD doesn't take, probably Ramsey)

I was almost certain the rams would trade up for a qb, however, I didn't think for one second they were trading up to 1 and giving up this much of a haul. That came as a shocker. I figured theyd be a bit more conservative and hope he falls to 6 and gives us an offer to leap SF. I'm a bit shocked but I was actually saying this same thing to someone in school earlier, the rams need a qb and little else. They have heavily invested in the line and they might as well see if the investment pans out, outside of that they need a wr and maybe a db and they should be competing at a very high level with a qb.

It's harder to find a franchize QB than it is to rebuild a team, less than half the teams in the league have a proven one.

Yeah. I mean, the Rams know the penalty of paying for a QB, but they built their current team because of that so of course they know--which is why they can now afford to trade up because they essentially filled their roster and only need a few key pieces, which included QB.

I've always believed in their formula too. Build your team with patience, don't try to rush success by selling the farm for a qb who will have no team around him. The rams overpaid for qb prospects who i don't believe are worth it, but I like their formula to rebuild after the Bradford debacle.

If the Eagles or Niners decide to trade down with Cleveland to take a QB, then it is highly likely that Tunsil will fall. Here is one scenario that I think may play out on draft day.

1. Goff - Rams

2. Wentz - Niners/Eagles (Trade with Cleveland)

3. Ramsey - Chargers

4. Myles Jack - Cowboys

5. Tunsil - Titans (Trade with Jacksonville)

6. Bosa/Deforest Buckner - Baltimore

I personally don't like this scenario, but when I think about it, why won't the Titans trade down to #5 to take the player they would've picked anyway at #1? Giving up a lot less than they acquired from the Rams? Makes too much sense to me if Jacksonville is a willing trade partner.

I don't doubt that the Titans are very open to trading back up, but I'm not sure if they're targeting Tunsil in this scenario.  Apparently they really like the trio behind him - Stanley, Conklin, and Decker - and could make a move back into the back end of the top 10 or even stay put and get one of them.

The problem is all three including Conklin are slated to be gone before they pick and an offensive tackle is who they're supposedly targeting. So, if Tunsil falls to 5, I can't see why they won't give up their second and their 15th to trade with Jacksonville assuming of course that the Jags are willing.

It depends.  I think they could trade up for Tunsil, but if they really are as high on the other trio as rumors indicate, they could opt for the lesser trade up and hold onto the other picks to really rebuild.  It's all speculative at this point.

It's all speculative I agree, but if I were the Jags and if Tunsil does fall to #5, I don't think they mess around taking either of the others even if they have to give up less. Makes too much sense to take their original #1 pick giving up much less than they received from the Rams imo.

By no means ruling it out.  Just offering an alternative perspective to it.

Hmmm. I don't have the numbers chart but that - lol

I would think a 1st,3rd and 4th would be enough for only two spots. I'm such a fan of his I wouldn't be upset if it was more. He's the perfect fit for us.

Hey guys, i'll keep it short and sweet but I have followed most of these threads daily for some time now and for some reason never decided to join in on the chatter. First time for everything.

My Top 6

1.Goff-Rams

2.Wentz-Cleveland/SanFran

3.Ramsey-Chargers

4.Bosa-Cowboys........maybe zeke

5.Jack-Jags

6.Tunsil.......although for some reason I really think buckner will be a forced to be reckoned with in the future with the right coaching
