I tore a ligament in my knee, only slight missed 2 3 weeks, played through pain for 2 3 weeks without practice, matches only and was recovered.

I think it was a lot more serious than we ever knew.

How much did your employer invest/pay you and your healthy knee to be productive for their organization?

If Perriman is actually 100% like his coach stated, what harm would it be for the Ravens to just come out and say that?

Perriman's questionable status is not going to tip other teams about the Ravens draft plans.  Especially our 6th pick, since there isn't

a WR worthy of a top 10 pick.  The way the Ravens handled the info regarding Perriman's injury prior to him going on IR was a complete debacle.  I'm not suggesting that we're OWED anything on his status, but considering what happened last year, letting the fans know he's 100%, would go a long way.  JMO!

He sure didn't look 100% running sprints in the conditioning drills.

Look at the video again, NO ONE was going 100% during the conditioning drills. SMH.

But you can't deny he was near the front during those sprints.

Patience, this kid was an absolute monster in college and looks the part of the big, long, strong, fast, and aggressive wr we have always wanted. Lets not bail on him because there were overblown concerns of drops in college and one injury that was handled sloppily by the coaches.

People bailing on him are just plain dumb...Yea it sucks that he didnt play at all last year, but anyone who bails on a kid with minor to no major injury history, is just not looking at the big picture rather than just looking at things in the moment.  Just another reason for some of the fans to cry about....If he comes out and balls hard and puts up 900 yards, those same fans will have an excuse not to give him credit..."it wasnt 1000 yards" etc...

He also had far superior medical treatment. It's a wash. A simple wee stain/tear wouldn't keep him out that long.

The ravens lied about its seriousness from the beginning or the had an incompetent doctor who should be fired or he's soft.

I reckon option 1, they weren't honest with the fans and we never knew the seriousness of it, with a bit of option 2. It was worse than they thought.

I think a NFL first round pick is gonna proceed with a bit more caution than whatever you were doing. Not to imply you weren't doing anything difficult meaningful but the NFL is like the world pinnacle of athletics.

I too have a torn knee ligament. I tore my mcl when I was 19, it was relatively bad but Not Even close to ruptured, now at 24 years old it still completely buckles at random times and I can never Even play in a pickup game of basketball unless I get surgery on it.

Point is, if it were serious, the odds are he wouldn't even be rehabbing it without surgery and the progress wouldn't be encouraging. If it was minor then it can recover on its own without surgery but to be safe you give an extended timetable for it.

An injury to an athlete, especially one who depends on speed to be elite, is a very traumatic experience. And when it doesn't heal as fast as you hoped, it produces lots of anxiety too. We all want to see BP contribute, but none more than he does.

I think this is the case.   Our organization are also revamping training routine of how we condition our players.   Losing half of our starters last year is no coincidence.   Something had to give.

Seems like a daily thing on here anymore trying to defend an injured player who hasn't played yet... Sad but true. So want him to light it up this year

No one else in the world heals at his rate from a "day to day" injury.

If you don't agree that a) the ravens weren't fully truthful and B) it was actually worse than they thought you must believe that perriman is soft, Because what else is there?
