If you were on an Island for the rest of your life. What restaurant would you eat?  In other words pick your favorite restaurant would you eat if you're living on island for the rest of your life? 7-11 and Highs doesn't count.

I would pick a seafood restaurant.  They usually have boats hanging on the wall for decoration.  Late one night I would pull one of the boats off the wall and set sail for the mainland.

I am aware. I did just pick them to be the last places I would eat in a while

But they have almost everything. Who wants to eat Mexican, burgers or Subs every day?

Food is still garbage.

Jimmy John's

In my opinion this is the most overrated place on earth.
I have never had anything there that I could not build for myself at the meat counter at Wegmans.

Exactly.
I would rather have good food with no variety, as opposed to a variety of horrible stuff.

Chicken and Waffles is a combination that should not work but works so well somehow.

It is quite strange how that works, right? Lol, when I first heard it, I thought it was so weird, but it is good.

Samesies.  I was never fond of the idea of breakfast and dinner food meshing, but I'll be damned.  I'm partial to pepper gravy over syrup with mine, but both are damn good.

Although I won't be trying that combo I don't doubt you enjoy it.  I have to ask, where did you get the idea to put PB on a burger?

Some burger joint on The Food Network had it on the menu.
It sounded so strange.  As with most people peanut butter is always in the house, so I decided next time I was going to give it a try on just 1/4 of my burger.
For context, it was just an ordinary burger on the grill, seasoned with salt and pepper, a toasted potato roll and Tamilook Cheddar cheese. I spread a small amount of creamy on one side of the burger.   The taste really didn't come through, so I put a little bit more on the rest of both sides of the burger.  The peanut butter melted and got even more creamy and runny, I bit into it and it was amazing. Something about the creamy saltiness just makes it.  Everyone, and I do mean everyone, I know who has tried it has loved it.  Some people even say it is the only way they get their burger from now on.
I don't put it on there 100% of the time, but I  I do it often.

Just try it on 1/4 or 1/2 of your burger when you cook out next time.  July 4th is Monday.  There will be plenty of burgers in case you don't like it.

So, wait a minute...you mean to tell me that you don't always eat burgers but when you do, you prefer peanut butter as a condiment often?

Considering I eat these all the time to stay in shape this couldn't be furthur from the truth.

You know what sucks though? Getting your wisdom teeth pulled so you can't really eat out. Unless if someone wants to take me to Old Spaghetti factory. That'd be great. That place is the bomb and is cheap. Makes Olive Garden look like McDonalds.

So, as @RavensFanMania knows, I'm a frequent visitor of Hawaii. We were there at the same time and I almost met him. Wish I could've, in fact I hope he comes out west sometime, I'll buy him and his wife a steak dinner, but if anyone needs any food reccomendations for Hawaii(from me specifically Maui) hit him or me up. I gave him a decent amount of reccomendations and he said he enjoyed all of them. I know anywhere from super cheap eats($8 a plate) to steakhouses(which btw.. Don't go to a Ruth's Chris in Hawaii. There's no freaking point..).

Wheres your favorite place to travel and eat? I have two that are not Hawaii. Tucson Arizona has amazing food and is beautiful, and South Carolina more specifically Hilton Head Island has some great deep fried and sea food.

New Orleans.  Followed by Las Vegas (no, not the nasty buffets), San Diego, Chicago, NYC.  Hated Los Angeles.

I'm not what you'd consider a big eater.  I've always eaten reasonable portions.  However, when I went to NOLA, I got a BBQ Shrimp Po'Boy and it was absolutely fantastic... so fantastic that I got a 2nd one.

Nice. When I was scouting apartments in Boulder to see if I wanted to live there, there was a restaurant called Jax's Fish House for the university students. During happy hour they offered a oyster pro boy which was delicious. Love po'boys

To comment. Yeah the LA Food scene really isn't that great. Not too many places there that are worth going to. New York is on my list, my dad lives there and owes me a steak dinner. San Diego is great.

San Fran is overrated in regards to food.

So, just wanted to give everyone a great restaurant recommendation.  Arturo's Trattoria.  It's an Italian restaurant in Glen Burnie.  1660 Crain Hwy South, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.  410-761-1500

San Fran may be overrated but I had some excellent meals there when I went ~8 years ago. The seafood pasta I had was probably the best I've ever had and I've tried (with varying results) to find something like it again.
