Dream Draft

59 posts in this topic

What is your dream draft? For me it'd be to trade back with the Rams for the 15th, 43rd, and 74th.

15th- Noah Spence

36th- Jaylon Smith

43rd- Mackensie Alexander

My ultimate dream draft would be to somehow get Ramsey Tunsil Buckner Jack Tredwell Bosa Spence and VH3. But I have a slight feeling that won't happen

but more realistically I would love to get Myles Jack with the sixth pick Noah spence with the 36th and Tyler Boyd in the third

6 - Bosa (pass rusher)

36 - Alexander (CB)

70 - Deion Jones or Chris Jones

4th round pick : Sean Davis

Brand new defense that plays like Ravens

high character caliber players. but that wont happen ever. Chris jones can go 1st round. deion jones 2nd round. alexander probably low first round

and still trade back and acquire a 1st for next year and a 2nd for this year

Rams would have to give at least both of their 2nd round picks--you're not dreaming hard enough!

But since we're dreaming:

1: Laremy Tunsil

2: Noah Spence

3: Kendall Fuller

4: Karl Joseph

4: Yannick Ngakoue

4: Victor Ochi

4: Charles Tapper

6: Bronson Kaufusi

6: Kevin Hogan

...and then I woke up

/lol, just realized I got a bit carried away on pass rush. Maybe substitute Treadwell for Spence.

I don't get the Spence + Jaylon Smith move. You might have 2 guys not playing in the NFL in 1-2 years if Spence is suspended again and Jaylon retires because of nerve damage.

I would only take 1 player with those issues in the first 3 rounds to be honest. Jaylon Smith will probably fall in the 4th

Noah drug preference is not an addiction it's a party drug

yes it is wrong and illegal . I do believe that is behind him ( and I am sure the FO thinks so)

players do turn it around, and if noah is suspended again he is out for a year,, lol

first the nfl has a protocol to get a suspension for a year.

jaylon well that is my dream pick, I am ok with him missing this year and I wanted to spend a 4th not a 3rd

zack orr could have success if not well jaylon has a year of NFL rehab.

Yeah, you don't know that, neither does the front office.. you are making a gross assumption about what this kid, a total stranger to us all, is all about. Addictive or not, he will have to make sound decisions every day about his choices for a long time.. sometimes old habits die hard, temptations are there, you never know. All it takes is a moment of weakness.. What's overlooked here is that he also blatantly lied about it the first time he got caught.. That combined with underwhelming combine and apparent lack of team interest on his pro day and I wouldn't be surprised if he slipped to 3rd round like Gregory last year....

I love that one. I have pretty much the same but I put Alexander because I don't think WJIII will get past the steelers they love him

Wouldn't touch jaylon Smith til the 4th round. He was overrated before the injury and now he may never play again. I absolutely don't see why anyone would want him with our 2nd rounder

You're about the only one to think this.

My dream draft would start with us trading our first pick to the Rams for their first and both seconds.

1-15. Shaq Lawson DL/LB

2-36. Su'a Cravens LB

2-43. Vernon Butler DL

2-45. Kendall Fuller DB

3-70. Sterling Shepard WR

4-104. Yannick Ngakoue LB

4-130. Shon Coleman OL

4-132. Joe Schobert LB

4-134. Sean Davis DB

6-182. Denver Kirkland OL

6-209. Keith Marshall RB

To make this dream even better the Steelers take Shawn Oakman with their first pick.

Man, before the injury Smith was close to consensus best player in the draft and it's ridiculous calling him overrated.

Having said that, I never liked him for our team. Just don't see good fit here.

Dream draft for me is for SF to trade up a spot to take the QB they want to prevent others jumping them.

Would exchange our 1st(6) 3rd(70) 4th(130) to SF for their 1st(7) 3rd(68) 4th(105) picks whilst gaining both 5ths (142 145).  For those who go with a trade chart there is only 1.3pts difference in this trade in benifit of the Ravens, with four 6th round picks (two tradeable) we could get more.

I wasn't quite sold on Smith here either. I see what people like about him but think he would be far more effective sheltered as a 4-3 WILL where he doesn't have to take on too many blocks.

At first i liked him, and though he had potential as an OLB for us If he could pack on some weight, but I've never been a fan of him as a ilb for us, I absolutely despise how much ground he gives up against the run by circling around traffic, and I think he's good but not great in coverage. I thought he had one possible role for this defense and that involved packing on a good bit of weight, since this injury I wouldn't touch him with a 10 ft pole.

Consensus Best player by the way... Well that is the exact reason he is overrated. Top 20 talent before the injury abaolutely, top 10? Maybe for the right team, top of the class though? I don't see any film that can come close to justifying that lol
