anyone heard of Noah Spence of E Kentucky?

29 posts in this topic

I read that this kid is a super steal at a low price because he has a bad past but that was in the past. DeCosta likes him because he is a super strong pass rusher but was banned at Ohio State because of drugs. De Costa said he transferred to E Kentucky where he has turned his life around. I think hw would be worth the try because it would be great to see somebody besides Suggs coming from another side rumnning their QB down

Nope never heard of him. Never seen him in the draft talk section. Never seen him mocked to us. It's like he doesn't even exist.

Yeah I remember reading about him, now I could be wrong but I believe he transferred to the Derek Zoolander school for kids who can't read good and want to do other stuff good too.

They're a new member. Cut them some slack. Sheesh.

Yeah, we've heard of him. He's a talented edge rusher who needs some work but he can rush the passer and is probably the best 3-4 OLB prospect. He's got legitimate character concerns but he seems to be clean. I'd love him here.

I think his past woes are behind him,

he was fortunate to experience life after his mistakes,

the drug( party drug) was bad and it was really how he handled the situation,

banned from school and a great cast of team mates, yeah he learned his lesson.

I am a fan, I have mocked him in my past draft, so yes I have heard of him

Yea I'd love it if we are able to pick him in the second round, or even if we were to make a move to get back into the end of the first round and picked him there.

Ignore the jerks. If you want to know about him, dig through some of the threads on here and you'll learn a ton about him. Especially if you go through the senior bowl thread.

Pro tip: on this forum, never say "do you know" but "what do you think of".

More seriously, everyone here has been discussing about the draft and the prospects nearly 24/7 since January at least. I think it's fair to say every prospect that will be selected in the first 4 rounds (save for the OL maybe) is well known here.

A guy like Spence is very well known of course, and we've all heard his story and watched his tape, with different conclusions.

So don't hesitate to ask anything you want to know on him ;)

Anyone else think it's optimistic to expect Spence in round 2?

Too optimistic, I think.

Unlikely to happen, but not ruling it out.

Another team would probably jump ahead of us even if he made it to #35

Yea I find it hard to believe he falls that far. I'm not even sure he sees the 2nd round let alone 6 picks deep.

I think there is at least a 50/50 chance he falls to us in the second round. He is raw, especially against the run. I guess it depends on if his interviews show his character issues are behind him.

Whatever. Great way to welcome a new member. Maybe they're not really familiar yet with the forum. I don't like this elitist attitude and don't condone the idea of getting a laugh at someone's mistake.

I'm curious if the Ravens would trade back into the first if he falls towards the bottom of the first.

I know him. He was the Ravens' 2016 2nd round draft selection.

That would be nice Maryland as long as he grew out of his knucklehead ways. But that is why Oz and his staff met and talked with him for so long and they are smart enough to know if someone is sincere or feeding them a line of trash.

Definitely don't remember the Von Miller comps with him. Also might want to check out the "have a heart" thread at the top of the page. In fact anyone who hasn't checked that thread out should.
