That is pretty cool!

Nice to see the bats finally come alive again.

See i was right!!!  When you spend the money you win! Why didn't Angelos spend on Nelson Cruz and Andrew Miller last year? O's could have won it again. But i do agree with getting rid of Chen and Steve Pearce. Just imagine now if we had  Nelson Cruz. Andrew Miller, Rickard and Trumbo? That would be a massive offense and a great bullpen.

Ubaldo needs to come off the rotation. He's absolutely horrible.

I agree

Theres a little common sense. You don't allow your best reliever to chase a bunt thats why Britton is hurt. After that first time he tagged out the player on the bunt Buck should have told him i don't want ever see you do that again. You don't chase the bunt on the line to make a play. You're here to pitch not to chase bunts on the line. If i see you trying make a play off a bunt on the line again it'll cost you $5000

We will miss Hardy in the field. :(

The kind of players I want on my team are the ones who go all out to make plays. I don't want someone playing scared of getting injured. I thought Britton's play to tag that guy out at first was awesome. Maybe you should fire me as a fan while you are at it.

Wow, we just can't hit with guys on base unless it is a home run. Not good!

You gotta understand Britton is our best reliever. The Closer just as good like Riveria was. If he gets hurt how are we going close out the 9th to win us games?

Tillman and Gausman are going to carry this rotation.

That was my hope at the beginning of the season.

Let's hope Ubaldo gets it together tonight.

Injuries are part of sports. You can't play frightened. JJ got hurt fouling a ball off of his foot, it happens.

He's a heckuva SS. Maybe he shouldn't bat anymore!    lol

Yes Batters get hurt,,You cant prevent foul ball injuries. But you can prevent fielding certain kind of ground balls. Especially pitcher.

See OMP Jiminez left the bunt alone A's hitter Burns. and let Chris Davis field it, Thats what you're supposed to do as a pitcher. Unlike Britton who had to field it wind up with Ankle injury.

Sorry Steve, gotta tell ya your dead wrong here. I didn't see the play but I guarantee baldy left it alone because he knew Chris had the better chance.  Nobody, including pitchers purposely avoid fielding a ball because they may get hurt, it just doesn't happen.

I'll give a pass to pitchers if it is a line drive right at their face, or... other parts... but that is about it

Sorry,, We just cant take big risks like this. I say let the fielders handle it. Pitchers are not trained to make a bunt play on the line. I say next year start making pitchers practice this play skill and then when season starts more than unlikely an injury will happen. When you're not prepared and know how to make these kinds of drills thats how injuries happen.

Except bunt drills for pitchers are done all the time...

I didn't see these kinds a drills where you dive and tag runner out. I watch Spring training drills,,I even watch infield bunt drills and run downs. The only play close to Brittons case was bunt on the line scoop ball in glove and throw to first baseman

Thats all i saw,,I never seen a dive to the line throw to first base.
