I agree he's not the best hitter, but I've never seen him outright misplay a ball, or not make a throw he should be able to make. He has pretty decent range as well. Everyone has an occasional error, but Adam's been more than dependable and it's hard to argue 4 Gold Gloves since he's been an Oriole.

That was my exact point. We weren;t even in the playoffs at the point. We had to win one vs. Toronto just to see which team would be in the wild card. We over celebrated even though they hadn;t won a thing. It was pathetic.

He's flashy a team leader and can hit the long ball that's how he has 4 gold glove awards. He has never been the everyday best CF in the league.

 

he has a cannon for an arm and has been a good defender for majority of his career. He relies on speed a bit too much so it will be interesting to see how they adjust with him in the future

He won 4 Gold Gloves in CF because he is "flashy" and can hit HRs?  OK.  I can tell your a big fan.   lol
