Baltimore please don't let detroit make the playoffs.

My only concern is they play the Braves and I was looking at the ERA's of some of the pitchers the Tigers will face and they are not good. Their game against the Indians was postponed yesterday and I am assuming it will be put off to where they will be resting their players for the playoffs. I am afraid that Boston will be doing the same against the Blue Jays. However, the Yankees will be playing for pride, have no reason to rest anyone, and will probably relish the spoiler role they have been given. IMHO, I think we probably have the tougher road and better bring it these last three games. I would love to finish out a game ahead of the Blue Jays to play the Wild Card game at home.

Why don't O's fans sellout Yankee Stadium all 3 games just like Yankee fans been doing at Camden Yards though out the years?

I think boston dont wanna enter the playoffs in the worst form, I think they win today. But I think the braves take at least 1 if not 2 games, they have played really well lately.

I know the Orioles struggled after the All-Star Break, gave up the division to Boston(yuck) but man they are getting hot at the right time. Just like the NFL season comes down to who gets hot in time to make a Super Bowl run, let's hope the Orioles can use this to get hot right at the end of the season. It's like the Orioles are taking a page out of the 2012 Ravens where they started out hot, faltered in the middle of the season but then got hot at the right time to win a Super Bowl. If that's the book the Orioles are using then let's hope they can carry it to a World Series Championship.

Gallardo did his part tonight, and our offense gives our bullpen a 7 run lead....too bad the Blue Jays now took the lead in Boston.

Thankfully, Boston took the lead right back with a 4 run 7th inning and it looks like the Orioles will take sole possession of the top Wild Card Spot in the AL if Boston hangs on.

Yes but even more importantly, keep detroit out. I hope my A's keep tanking so we get a high pick

If the Tigers and the Blue Jays end with the same record, I wonder who holds the tie-breaker? I never liked the Blue Jays, but why don't you like the Tigers?

Yeah IMHO, they have just a little more punch in their lineup on offense. Happ is pitching today for the Jays and Rodriguez is still looking for a win with the Sox, so that worries me today. Thankfully, Severino has a higher ERA and less wins than Miley, so maybe our lineup can score a lot of runs today. Go O's!!!!

Tonight's games are obviously huge. I did note that earlier in the week, the matchup for today's game was Tanaka v. Miley (gulp). Now the Yanks are listing Severino. It might be another good night for the O's bats to go out and get us the win. The matchup for the Sox v. Jays is not in our favor, with Cy Young candidate Happ (20-4) going against Rodriguez (3-7). The matchup with Detriot v. Atlanta can't be good no matter who is on the mound, because it would appear the Braves are in death spiral mode.

Gotta keep winning.

If we win today do we clinch a Wild Card Spot?

Thats the question i ask. I think so im not sure. I prefer O's sweep the Yanks and clinch home field on wildcard

Yes, IF the Blue Jays lose or if the Tigers lose. Assuming the Orioles win, that is.

Buck's playing with fire today.  With the season on the line, you have to be prepared to go the bullpen sooner.  Not a bad performance from Miley, but I wouldn't have chanced him that much.  He's getting the hook at the first sign of trouble.

I definitely agree. At least it is the bottom of their lineup.

Thats why Angelos have to fire him if we lose the playoffs. Its a Business,,, In this Business you must win,,If you don't win you get the boot.
