Offense was terrible, but hey we could be the Braves and be 0-8, not 7-1. Just need to recover, but great to get 2 series wins against 2 division opponents early on in the season. 4 game series against the Rangers starting tomorrow.

Its time to send Rickard down to Norfolk. This kid has a lot to learn about playing left field in the majors. Maybe its time to call up Christian Walker

Trumbo homered twice in the same inning. Don't think I've ever seen that.

Edwin Encarnacion was the last to accomplish that 2013 vs the Astros

really nice job here by the pitching staff to throw away the lead

Yep unbelievable. Hopefully the offense have a few more home runs in them in order to get the lead back.

Awful decision by Buck to send Gallardo back out there, too.

I know bad Managing. Now you know why some bosses have to be mean to you? Maybe you cant do the job is the reason why he wouldn't promote you. And if you're not doing your job you get yelled and screamed at. Like Remember John Gibbons took the pitcher out and pitcher got upset.

John Gibbons does remind me a lot on Earl Weaver

Yes!! Its time to promote Christian Walker. Rickard got lucky on that throw out at home. Rickard should be the DH  or make Kim play left field

Im Dead Serious guys.Christian Walker is on fire at Norfolk. Why not bring him up to Baltimore demote Tyler Wilson to Norfolk.Walker can play left field and Rickard bat in DH spot.

So happy for Jake Arrieta.  The Cubs have done wonders for him.  It sucks that he's not here doing that, but he was always a good guy and he deserves the success.

I disagree,,It was Angelos who let Arrieta go. Didn't want to pay him more money. This isn't the first time Angelos did this crap. Remember Mike Mussina?  Can you imagine if only Angelos would paid Arrieta more bucks What kind of Pitching O's would have now? And  Rickard's throw home was pure luck. Look at the sloppy catch and thrown home. That was pure luck. Sooner or later sloopy play will cost you errors and possibly the game.

Agree on Angelos, but I'm not sure what you are seeing with Rickard there Steve. He is proving to be a huge asset in the field and at the plate. Unless he does a 180, Joey is up in the bigs to stay.

Did you see him drop the ball tank? Any outfielder can make that catch. I understand he's a rookie and thats what rookies do,,They make mistakes. But why not bring up Christian Walker? They guy is on fire.

Did you see the catch he made last night to save a big inning?  Did you see he accounted for two of our three runs? Walker may be brought up at some point, but it won't be Joey going down.

Considering he can't even go down to the minors, because you can bet the Rays are taking him back if we even tried.
