Settles the decision on who to drop out of the rotation.

Yeah, being down 5 runs before the second inning is no way to start a game.

That was ugly. Very disappointing to be down by so many runs that early in a game in the middle of a pennant race. Let's hope Bundy gets back on track tonight. I want the division, not the wild card.

I think the Miley experiment should be declared an abject failure and it is time to move on. Ubaldo may get torched periodically, but at least he also periodically has a good game (and has had a few in consecutive starts of late). Hopefully, who ever we gave up to get this guy doesn't blossom - that will make this move particularly annoying.

Yep.  The Miley train has to stop.  I didn't expect much, but also didn't expect anything this bad.

I was of the mindset that he'd be a good fifth starter; good being relative to what you'd expect from an Orioles back of the rotation guy.

Well, that's proven to be wrong...

Bundy is pitching well. He had a bit of a rough start, but blue's strike zone didn't do him any favors when it looked like he could have worked through it scoreless.

12 outs to go. hold the lead.

Bullpen deserves props for their performance tonight. Tomorrow will be a lot more interesting but we can do it if Gausman pitches a good one.

KG seems to have turned the corner recently... we need a good start from him today. Taking 2/3 would be huge! Let's go O's!

2.CF Adam Jones

3.3B Manny Machado

4.RF Mark Trumbo

5.1B Chris Davis

6.LF Hyun-soo-Kim

7.C Matt Wieters

Kevin pitching a real gem so far. Again, 12 outs to go.

Trumbo's dinger was epic, out of the stadium and into the street.

Classic win. If they keep this up it could mean, dare I say, a pennant!

How bout that?

Rick Porcello is now 13-1 at home. That's right; the Orioles handed him his first home loss.

More importantly, Kevin Gausman is now 5-0 in his last five or six starts.

O's are starting to win on the road. I guess that game at San Francisco turned it around when O's were trailing by 5 runs going into the 9th inning.

Great pitching tonight, shutting out Boston is extremely tough.

Agreed, that was a very good pitching performance tonight!

Once again how the hell do you pick the american league standings and WS rep this season. This might be the best wildcard race i've seen in any sport in any year this season. Mariners have won 8 straight and are still 2 games out I think, and toronto just lost 2 straight to tampa, Boston lost 2 straight to you guys but still hold div lead by 1. Just utter insanity.

After the first game I said, "This is why the Orioles won't win it all. They can't handle the Red Sox."

Well, maybe if they have a rotation of Tillman, Bundy, Gasuman, and Baldy, they can.
