Why would anyone want Ubaldo, and why would we want to move a young pitcher who seems to be rebounding nicely and coming back into his own as a very good prospect?

lol seriously seems like a net loss for the Rays

The Orioles sold out two solid pitching prospects in Zack Davies and Eduardo Rodriguez. Why do that a third time?

I would agree, but that doesn't mean you trade a pitcher who is beginning to regain the form necessary to be a front end pitcher.

I think that you could probably trade a prospect for a mediocre lefty. Or at least I would.

Watching Tillman last night was concerning tho...I hope we don't trade away the farm for a average number 1....that would be disappointing, especially with hearing the reports on some of those guys in triple A. They could probably get this done with the guys they have as long as the pitchers aren't completely awful

The issue is the Ravens don't have any top 50 prospect and their farm is one of the worst, if not the worst, in the MLB. They just really don't have the ammo to trade

Sorry Steve, the record is cool, but doesn't do a whole lot for me. Setting the record for home runs in the World Series, that is something that could matter!

Well if they lose again in Playoffs then fire Buck Showalter. Tank in case you don't remember Art Models Browns in the late 80s. The Browns were so good in fact they were an super bowl caliber team. They had 4 chances the Browns had to go to the Super Bowl. The first strike was in Cleveland Stadium 1986 that was the famous drive game. The second strike was 1987 at Denver they lost by 4 points the Third strike was in Cleveland vs Houston 1988 lost by a point. And the the famous 1 yard goal fumble game in 1989 at Denver. then in 1990 Art Model Fired Marty Shotenheimer. And then he moved the team to Baltimore and in 2000 they won the super bowl. You see my point? Marty Shotenheimer was an medicore coach. And medicore coaches don't win championships. And Buck Showalter is an medicore manager. He hasn't put any team in the world series. Its what happens after you fire Buck Showalter

1995 Yankees buck fired= 1996 Yankees won World Series

2000 D Backs buck fired= 2001 D Backs won World Series

2006 Rangers buck fired= 2009  Rangers lost World Series

You see my point here? Same thing will happen to the O's when Buck is gone. Thats when I'm buying Season Tickets so i can experience the World Series

Can we please take one in Seattle please? Need to take advantage of the laughable blowout of the Red Sox.

Or you can not listen to me and just follow along with the Red Sox and get blown out as well.

So frustrating to see how much of a lead we have on everyone else in the Division race and can not take advantage of their losses. I know it's still possible but we could clinch the division in August if things played out good for July.

Buck showalter doesn't know how to use the minor leagues.. WEAVER DID!!! Weaver sent a strong message and all those Pitchers got weavers message. Palmer,McNally and Cuellar knew they don't want to be sent down to Rochester.

In my Franchise on MLB The Show 16, I released Vance Worley because he's not a good pitcher. Follow my lead O's and cut him tomorrow. Already gave up 8 runs and I'm sure a free agent signing or someone in the minors can do better.

Watch Red Sox manager john farrell does tomorrow. He's going to send a lot of players to Pawtucket. There are players from Pawtucket who would love to be in Boston

This is why i want Buck gone! Any manager wouldn't give Ubaldo too many chances. He had enough chances,So put him in the bullpen

While I fully understand the options are lacking at SP, you just can't keep throwing Ubaldo out there.  1 decent start here and there isn't enough to keep saving his job.  Nothing is going to change if we don't even attempt to make improvement.

Manny, Trumbo, Wieters, Britton, and Brach are All-Stars.  Big congrats to Brach in particular.  Hard for middle relievers to make it, but he's been so dominant.
