The fact that we've been doing so well really makes you wonder how good we could be with 1 or 2 more decent starters.

It's a real shame that the Orioles do not have the farm team to really trade for decent pitching since, you know, the Orioles just kinda trade away any worthwhile prospects for three month rental bats.

Zach Davies would certainly look a lot better right now than the colossal failure that was Gerardo Parra.

Davies is doing about how we should have expected him to do, which is sad since that would have been extremely valuable if the Orioles weren't so short sited with their investments.

And the crappy thing is the Orioles aren't even getting worthwhile, big name guys. If they pulled off a trade for like Jonathan Lucroy or Julio Teheran and broke the bank, then I'd understand, but they're getting no names and trading away players who are on the verge of being MLB talents. It really pisses me off because the Orioles probably  have the worst farm team in the MLB

On a positive note (aside from us winning), Bundy is starting to look very good.  His stuff looks like pre-injury stuff again.

Break out the brooms.

To top it off, Boston lost 6-2 to the Rangers, Toronto lost 5-2 to the White Sox and the Yankees lost 7-1 to the Twins. Making the Orioles the only AL East team to win today! :06:

I was at the game today. Our offense is absurd.

How hype were you for that grand slam?

lol I was caught off guard since it was only the first inning and it landed about 30 feet in front of where I was sitting. I initially didn't think it would get out but I shouldn't have doubted Chris' power. Jones was excellent today.

I wish I had cable. I'm going largely off the ESPN little animations, but I'm liking the box scores I'm seeing.

Maybe you can win without pitching. The 2000 Ravens won the super bowl without offense.

True, they were the opposite of the 2016 Orioles who have plenty of offense. If we still had Nelson Cruz in the lineup this team would definitely set a homerun record this year that would be hard to break. He is one homerun ahead of Davis and only two behind Trumbo. Our defense would be lacking, but could you imagine a lineup with Trumbo, Cruz, Davis, Machado, and Jones. That would really give a pitcher nightmares!

Who needs pitching with the type of bats we have? It was the Bats gave Ubaldo the win. Maybe Buck should call up some guys from Norfolk see what they can do in majors.

Pitching wins championships. We have 3 months to get it together or or it will end up as another disappointing end to a promising season.

Worley is supposedly making the trip to Seattle so it seems very possible Drake moves back down to the minors. From what the announcers were saying, he was having a tough time adjusting to the different balls they use in the majors.

I see with the Trumbo homerun we tied the 55 homerun record for the month of June. If we hit 4 more tomorrow we can set an all time record for any month :)

It could happen. Cause Seattle doesn't play well at home

Who would like to see Matt Moore come to Baltimore? The Rays Lefty starter should be consider O's trade Dylan Bundy along with Ubaldo to the Rays

Why would anyone want Ubaldo, and why would we want to move a young pitcher who seems to be rebounding nicely and coming back into his own as a very good prospect?

Not to mention both teams are in the AL East..sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen.

Good information for tonight's game in favor of us:
