The starting pitching on this team is on the border of hilariously bad at this point.

Pathetic! Buck should take those players right back out work on 3 extra hours of fielding drills. If anybody refuses to do it,, it will cost them $20,000

We might not be able to pitch, but I think we have the hitting aspect of the game covered.

We're basically the equivalent to one of those NFL teams who score a bunch of points but have a defense who couldn't stop the other team from scoring if their lives depended on it. I mean the Yankees are just mediocre offensively and we are still giving up 5+ runs to them.

Look at O's Attendance another example. Fans wont support the O's because of Peter Angelos. O's fans aren't getting like Colts fans of the 80s. Remember how low Colts drew at Memorial Stadium? Because of Bob Irsay. If you have an owner who really wants to win our fans would be behind you. Look at Ravens for example. They were 5-11 last year and fans still came out and sold-out the place. Cause Ravens front office people are trying to win. O's on the other end all they care about is budgets. Exactly why Angelos wanted to get rid of Jake Aretta wouldn't resign Nick Markakis,Andrew Miller and Nelson Cruz. This is why were lacking in pitching cause Mr Angelos will spend on bats but not on pitching. Just like Colts had a bunch of players who are young and no talent Like Mike Pagel who was a cheap QB,, Curtis Dickey who couldn't hold on to the ball and guys on defense making poor tackles. Who why aren't fans taking a lesson from Colts fans? I want to see at least 15000 a game like Cleveland and Oakland draws.

We're somewhere in the middle of the pack on spending(offseason signed Davis to a riculously high contract,O Day,Gallardo and Wieters signed his 15.2 mil tender) and we got Machado to worry about but the O's will make the mistake of letting the arbitration years ride out probally which would be a big mistake. Sign this man for 10 yrs 275 mil now!! I don't never see the O's signing a front line pitcher like Greinke for example cuz a pitcher could blow out his arm at anytime but I personally would like to resign Tillman and Britton to good deals, hope Gausman keeps developing and Gallardo can come back and earn his contract but the O's are doing it right by trying to develop arms in the minors but it just seems like our young arms keep getting injured for some reason.

For the rest of your post are you trying to insinuate you don't want good attendance from O's fans?? To teach the FO a lesson?? What city are the Colts playing in now??

And We got a better team a better organizion and we went to the first two super bowls in the first 20 years in Ravens franchise in Baltimore. How many super bowls Colts been to their first 20 years in Indianapolis? Plus Ravens play more playoff games and AFC Championships than Colts did in indianapolis. Ravens franchise reminds me of tradition of Notre Dame fighting Irish history. Look at their championship history. Their Slogan is "Play like a Champion today!"  Ours is "Play like a Raven"

So you do want the O's to leave ???? You do realize we've had winning seasons the last few years including 2 playoff appearances.

I want the O's here WITHOUT PETER ANGELOS!

At his age, I expect all you need is a little patience.

Colts fans weren't patent with Irsay though. Mod 3 you don't remember or were you around those early 80s were you? If you saw the Colts in 1980-1983 you know what I'm talking about.

Back on current subjects: THAT was worth the wait.  When Wieters hit that ball, I knew it was going to be our win.  First place, baby!

Didn't he have domestic violence issues? Baltimore sports aren't too keen on that

Sure we do, but an intimidating closer like that is invaluable.

I hope so. They won the game the last time Ubaldo pitched but only because they scored 12 runs, and they needed most of them. If they don't score a fair amount of runs tonight, we will probably be in trouble.

Yeah the Royals can be good at small ball and if they can get on base, they are good at stealing and advancing on bunts to manufacture a run with their quickness. Before you know it those runs add up.
