Something has to be done about Ubaldo at this point.  You're essentially putting in an automatic L every 5th game.  Unfortunately, our depth (or lack thereof) puts us in a very difficult spot.

I was going to post the exact same thing. It is almost ridiculous at this point. I know we have a lot of money tied up in Ubaldo, but when this guy pretty much gives you an automatic loss it is time to try anyone else, even though our selection pool is slim.

Yes, Ubaldo has been horrible lately, but don't forget that have been several stretches the past 2 years where he was actually our best pitcher.  I'm sure they will try to give him time to work through it.

Yeah I don't know that you get rid of him, but he at least has to move to the bullpen or something.  Can't keep him in the rotation and concede defeat every 5 games.  He needs some low leverage situations right now.

If you heard that Boston had 5 HRs and the Orioles had none, would you have expected a 13-9 win?  I loved seeing the guys manufacture runs like that.  I hope they can keep it up tonight.  We're going to need a lot of runs to cover Jimenez.

As far as I know, catchers aren't usually known for offensive prowews...
