Browns cut Ifo

My thought is if you think risk reward of drafting a guy who might be a special teamer its worth a gamble but if there is a solid prospect I take the solid prospect. I would gamble with a 4th round comp possibly but I don't know about any earlier than that. However if the reports are true nd he is already squatting and doing leg presses then I would assume he is progressing well.

To my understanding Lattimore had two serious injuries to his leg  and one of the reasons why he retired from The NFl was because he never got over the soreness sustained from the injury. He was cleared to practice but just never got over that soreness but Ifo  on the other hand has been saying he feels good and has been practicing/work out  with other  NFL players.

That's correct. Lattimore retired because he had constant pain after his injury. What is crucial in a knee injury is whether the nerve that runs through that part of the leg is damaged. I'm not sure how much is know about Jaylon's health at this point other than that he tore multiple ligaments (ACL and MCL). We also don't really know how bad Ifo's knee is either without some inside information.

SB Nation did a good article about Lattimore and his story: http://www.sbnation.com/longform/2015/7/8/8900709/marcus-lattimore-profile-feature

I dunno. Would you trade Upshaw Carl Davis and Brooks for a good Jaylon Smith. Or even a max Williams/ Buck Allen. My opinion have to take your throws for building block players.  A solid player for cornerstone game changer in .08 seconds!! And like  jazz pointed out he is a leader that has his own gravitational pull.

Why did you pick Upshaw, Davis and Brooks? Are you just selectively picking 2nd through 4th round picks to make your point?

OK, I'll play the same game against you. Would you trade four years of KO, Brandon Williams, and Timmy Jernigan for even a healthy Jaylon Smith?

Umm... no.
