9 posts in this topic

He may had chased the money but Torrey's been a class act. Great to see his continued efforts and the local support

I wish there a way we could have worked something out to keep him here...no way we could match SF's offer, and he did what was right for him...but it doesn't seem right to see him wear anything other than Ravens' purple

If San Francisco cuts him soon, l wouldn't mind Torrey to come back to the Ravens. Torrey is a class act, helps the community, and a great human being. He loves Baltimore. ?

That's a possibility. Maybe not this year but next. Can't pay a good player great money for 33 catches.

One thing about Torrey is he doesn't burn his bridges. If for some reason Perriman doesn't pan out and Wallace does and wants a big payday, if things continue to transpire for Torrey in SF as it has been, (no legit QB), then just like Wallace, he might want to come back to a team with a QB who has an arm to sling the ball. What would pain me is if the Wallace thing was reversed and Torrey ended up in black and gold (he is well liked by Tomlin I am told and the Steelers would love that and have the QB to take advantage of it). Let's hope our FO doesn't let that happen.

I don't fault Torrey for taking the money, not one bit. You only have a short time to make money in the NFL, you need to maximize it. That money allows him to perform good works such as this.

Stand up man Torry Smith is. Keep up the good work.

I am also very certain he will have a bounce back year under Kelly. His schemes tend to open up the deep passes and will require Torrey's abilities to be successful.
