The same Chargers team who beat the Colts who beat you 31 to 3... whats your point? Titans did beat us but, you have yet to(unless you somehow have traded your entire roster for the titans roster)...this game is taking place on sunday and the past is done with so this game will be a great one and will show how dominate the AFC North is.. WOOT!
My point was to prove that you're statement about Chis Johnson dominating us was irrelevant. Your point about him scoring the titans one and only TD didn't affect the outcome of that game, their Turnovers which occured because our execution on Defense caused the outcome. By the way, you mentioned sumthin about his efforts in that first game. How many yards did he get?? i don't think he gained 50. Their rushing attack combined failed to get 70. So, whats ya point sir? My point also was, teams with losing records couldn't score 2 or more TD's against us. However, they succeeded against the Steelers. The Colts have always been an Offensive Monster, so you can't use them as an example. We just don't seem to match-up well against them enough to dominate'em. I can admit that. I know that you know this is a game of match-ups. that's why a team like the Chargers can beat a high-
powered offensive team like the Colts, but we/Ravens can't overcome the Colts. The Giants Stomped on us, but loss to the team we always beat,The Browns. See what i'm sayin????
The 8 year old image is now stuck in my head. Reminds me of the NASCAR commercial with one of the drivers little "cousins".
Yeah I saw that commercial. It was that Wallace guy I think.
My point being if you didn't read is that the past is the past..just because the Titans beat us and you beat them doesn't mean you automatically get the win sunday...just because we beat you in both meetings doesn't we have the win locked.....now thats my POINT.
i cant debate.this is the best thing you've said thus far.i agree!!!! i have no beef!!!

Didn't the Colts, who lost to the Chargers, beat the Steelers? Doens't that right there sort of throw off your theory LaMar Woodley?

If you're saying you beat the Chargers, who beat the Colts, who beat us, therefor we can't beat you, then that's stupid. Its any given Sunday, and certain teams don't match up well against others. And no the Steelers are not a team we can't beat. We've had two very close games, both of which could have easily resulted in a Ravens win. They didn't, I understand that, but it's very realistic and obvious to say they could have, and EASILY if it weren't for certain plays. That has to show you right there that you should at least be slightly worried, we have a chance, a GOOD chance, and the previous two games show that
the intangible that the pressure is all on Pittsburgh in this one. The Ravens are playing with the House's money. We were never supposed to be close to the position we are in. We are the lowly 6th seed. The thought of the rookie QB (who out-did rookie ben in playoff feats) and the hated Ray Lewis being awarded an AFC champ trophy on their home turf has got to be a little nerve racking.
This was my thinking as soon as I knew it would be Ravens/Steelers.

You have nothing to lose as nobody expects a rookie QB to win a championship game on the road against a very good defense. Just making the AFCCG makes your season a success. Especially after missing the playoffs last year.

Pressure is on us.

Hopefully we can rise to the challenge.

Safe to assume both Ds will play well.

Really comes down to which QB is going to make plays and which will make mistakes.

Listen this is the last time I'm saying this..my response was about a poster before we bragging about beating the Titans and saying how they beat us...my point like I've stated so many times before is that the past is the past and this is the present..just because you beat the titans and they beat us just deson't mean your going to win this game hands down and knowing that we beat you twice doesn't mean were going to win this game hands down...so please everyone let it be know that the statement above is my point...geez
I wonder how many of our fans are over there jabber-jawing on their boards. Why are they so interested in what's going on here?
Speaking for myself:

1. I respect and like both teams. Whoever wins, I'm for them in the SB. I think most Steeler fans lurking or posting here feel the same.
2. This board is better moderated than most of the Steeler boards.
3. Steeler boards seem to be rated NC-17...can't let my kids within 100 yds of them...so much T&A in the sigs it's distracting! ;)

all the beating other teams making your team superior is utter garbage comparisions.

Just because A team lost to B team and B team lost to C team doesn't mean C team is better than everyone else, that's the kind of logic a 4 year old football fan would apply.

Except for the Lions they don't beat anybody...

Actually one of the ESPN Page 2 columnists had a cascading list of who's beaten who.

To start off I never brought up anything about Chris Johnson(I don't think) but, I agree your run defense is very good. The losing records thing I'm not sure holds much water because yes scoring tds on us is true but, those games were pretty much in the bag for us also the Browns dropped 27 points on you that one game. Honestly those teams aren't you and you aren't them. Those games are history and we can talk all about the stats and this and that but, come game time none of that matters. This will be a good game, honestly our teams are copies of each other. So we shall see how it turns out. Good luck though.

It's because they enjoyed the win so much against the dolphins
Actually, in the 18 times two teams have met for the third time, with one team having won twice in the regular season, since the Super Bowl era, the team that won twice won the playoff game 11 times. 11 out of 18. That stuff about it being hard to win three is just what the teams that lose two tell themselves to keep their hopes up.
I guess Ravens fans need the same nonsense this week.
we dont need luck or nonsense! we just need yall to stay Cocky until Sunday Night,or bring yall way of thinkin back to planet earth. One would think you guys would have learned from the Cocky/Prideful attitudes of the Giants,Titans & Panthers.Im sure they all just knew they were gonna win,or overlooked their opponents and forgot about the history of their match-ups.you guys are really makin us laugh with your snobbyness!!!!

the browns was the only losing team to do that.also, you did mention sumthin about Chris's only TD in the game.that was the main reason i responded.but anyway, you're right! we can sit on here and talk stats all day long until next seaon.what really matters is who wins Sunday.
