[News] Late For Work 4/1: Ravens 7-Round Mock Draft

70 posts in this topic

Alabama RBs have not lived up to the hype recently. I would rather Ravens draft late round FB like Hicks from Georgia to pave the way on short yardage and goaline with Foresett, Buck and LT. Juice is more of a H-back/TE.

If you got drafted by Cleveland who doesn't live up to the hype?

I can't see a scenario where we would be able to keep Juice and another FB on the roster. There are just not enough spots on the 53 man roster to go around.

Don't care what people think. I love power backs.
If Henry is BPA in round 2, go for it. Derrick Henry, Trent Richardson would be smashing defenses in their mouth all game. That's not including our other backs with power such as LT and TWest.

We need a left tackle and a pass rusher. We should try to find those in free agency before the draft, but I don't think we will, so we need to draft them.

My guess at a Ravens mock draft

Round 1
1. Buckner – Day one, makes D-line a dominant force along with Williams and Jernigan
2. Joey Bosa – if Cowboys take RB, or QB and Bosa is sitting there, Ravens take him
3. Stanley – Upgrade LT

Round 2
1. Noah Spence /Shilique Calhoun – Best available pass rusher. Can’t afford not to address pass rush in the draft by round 2
2. La Raven Clark/Spriggs – If Raven get there Pass rusher in round 1, then get best available LT to project Joe.

Round 3 – Best available choice
1. Rashad Robinson CB
2. Deion Jones LB
3. Kolby Listenbee WR
4. Jerald Hawkins or Kyle Murphy - OT

Round 4 – Fill remaining needs with available players
1. Miles Killibrew SS
2. Willie Beavers - OT
3. Sean Davis CB/FS
4. KJ Dillion - SS
5. Spencer Drango G/OT
6. Malcom Mitchell or Tajae Sharpe, Ricardo Louis, Demarcus Robinson. Ravens won’t have 3 picks in the fourth and not have selected a Wr by then. One of these guys will be available.

Day one: pick from Bosa, Buckner, Hargreaves, or Jack.  Day two: OL, OLB, WR and fill in the other positions through round 7.

BTW, love the new website format, looks great and easy to navigate. The only thing missing is the like/disagree button.... as it is now you have to go to forums to use that function. :)

Totally agree

please bring back the like or dislike button

I hate and disagree with everyone of this mock draft, silly to disagree with one or two,but this would be the worst case scenerio.JOEY BOSA?? he'd get toissed around like a rag doll against the huge o-linemen in our division,we need another HALOTI NGATA,not a slightly oversized linebacker.DEFOREST BUCKNER grades out higher in every meaningfull catagory over BOSA the second pick should be,if lucky,WILLIAM JACKSON III or again,if lucky, but should be there is,KEVIN DODD.again grades out better than BOSA,his coaches say he's slightly better than SHAQ LAWSON with a higher motor.and never, never waste a pick on a RB.do what new england and us as of late and bring in verified veteran RB'S.the next pick and still great value and high value O-LINEMAN,next pick?? another high value O-LINEMAN.,then daul pupose line-backer-special,special teamer's.i really like SHALIQUE CALHOUN also at pick 2,but KEVIN DODD,that's where it's at.
