isnt draftek the one that makes the boards for the draft simulators? yeah theyre pretty atrocious if thats the case lol

Yeah, I prefer WalterFootball, but I think they didn't do a Big Board yet.

Anyway, I've been watching a bit of LSU and FSU as of late, and I know people will mock me for saying this, but here goes:

I think Dalvin Cook is a better RB than Leonard Fournette. (Purely on field)

I'm okay with Fournette being a 1st round RB, but I don't see him as a unique talent in this draft. Compare him to Jalen Hurd 'who'll certainly go round 2/3) for example, and I don't see a difference big enough to warrant one or two Rounds.

On the other hands, Cook is just a phenomenal athlete and when he gets the ball it feels like he's one step ahead of the defense. He's at the very least the best player to watch in college football.

I have said the same about cook for well over a year now.

we should keep an eye on top wrs.

i like f.ross , dural .

who else to watch?

This is where this class is very interesting. There are absolute beasts that I would take over this year's 1st rounders that are slotted to go 3rd round if not later. Fred Ross is a freak, Dural and Dupre are fun to watch. I have a crush for KD Canon's ability to get separation (first play of the game vs Oklahoma State, I dropped my laptop), Corey Davis is better than Treadwell and Coleman imo.

A bit less impressive but still showcasing very nice attributes is Gabe Marks. Lastly, Travis Rudolph is a guy that caught my eye as a freshman, great physical, Treadwell-esque WR.

And all those guys are Day 2 picks. I'm shocked.

I want LB Malik Jefferson of Texas on the Ravens at pick #32 ;)

He May have to come out after his Sophomore year because he will have a lot of momentum IMO. '16 Big-12 DPOY hands down. Yes, I'm a Longhorns Die-Hard haha

One guy I'd love to see the Ravens snag in the draft is Billy Price, guard from Ohio Stage. We lost KO and Yanda isn't getting any younger. Price could give us a new monster at guard.

Quote

After a redshirt year in 2013, Price became a regular on the offensive line in 2014, where, as a redshirt freshman, he was already considered the strongest player on the team. In fact, in the spring of 2014, Ed Warinner said Price was “maybe the strongest guy coach Mick’s ever trained. Those are his words, not mine.” That’s high praise indeed for a redshirt freshman.

Just saw a 2rounds mock draft. This class is absolutely loaded, draft season is gonna be extremely tense next year.

As a whole? Or in specific positions?

Man, except at DL where it's weak (but we don't care) it's just full of talents everywhere. There are 3 first rounds talent at S (which is extremely rare), the WR class is insane as I said before, the LB class is very deep, the CB class is loaded, I didn't dive too much on the OL but it appears to have a few big names, esp on the interior, and of course I didn't talk about that RB class which is bar none better than any we've seen in many years and not even close.

Edit: forgot the edge rushers class, but it's still very impressive. About 5 first round talents.

I'm going to be really pissed if the Browns get him.

Watch a rival of ours or some team we have to play next season get him.

Do you only rank Gurley two due to the knee injury?

I would put dixon somewhere in there, probably between mcaffery and Chubb.

And I would've said this long before the ravens drafted him.

No, as of now I think Fournette is slightly better than Gurley was. But I mean Gurley is one of my favorite prospects ever so they're very close.

Can you explain Fournette as your number 1? When he faced Alabama, he looked very very human. Is this something of concern for the youngster when he faces NFL caliber defenses?

Alabama '15 had to be one of the more special defensive fronts in college football ever. Combine that with Saban's game plan for Fournette and it was inevitable. He's a freak RB though, can't judge him on one game.

Yeah, only so much you can do when you have three DL players in your face straight off the snap. It's a shame for LSU that they couldn't have him, OBJ and Landry rocking the house together. Even that Alabama side would have struggled big-time to contain all three.

Bama just had what some have called the greatest college DL. There was nowhere for him to run the entire game. Besides, every other game last year was very impressive.

the crazy thing is... their front COULD be better this year, unbelievable how stacked they are every year. jonathan allen is expected to really catch fire this year, their NT could be the best in the nation when its all said and done, dalvin tomlinson is respectable, tim williams is another mid-to-late first projected edge defender, they wont skip a beat after losing reggie ragland thanks to reuben foster as the thumper, shaun dion hamilton is a rangy athletic freak who could probably play FS if he wanted to..

alabama seems to just get better every couple of years, like their consistency just makes it unfair to other teams recruiters, especially when trying to recruit front seven defenders.

Disagree. The big problem of LSU's offense is its poor quaterback play. Honestly it's not as good a pair as the one you listed but Dupre and Dural are quite terrific. It's hard to produce more than what they did... LSU's OL was also quite weak in pass pro last year, from what I've seen.

So, for those who want to start watching some tape, here are a few prospects that caught my eyes :

All of the Rb, but particularly Jahad Thomas, Wayne Gallman and Samaje Perrine.

WR: Fred Ross, Cooper Kupp

DE: Chris Wormley

CB: Sidney Jones, Cameron Sutton, Jamar Summers

S: Jamal Adams (probably my early favourite for our first round)

Malik McDowell is looking unstoppable tonight. With our dl surprisingly looking average as hell, and with a far more hybrid front featuring more front 4 looks, McDowell could be an elite addition. He is reminiscent of Gerald McCoy, incredible length burst and agility, and enough strength to get by. I think McDowell could even play some 5t at a high level and get after the qb
