May be early but next years class looks exciting, so why not?

Assuming we have a solid year and end up in the 20s, a guy who is really strong on my radar is Jonathan allen, senior 5tech from Alabama. He can challenge and tackles and guards, strong eneough for the interior and very light on the feet with rapid shuffles and shows a basic understanding of hand usage making him a quality 5tech. I like him to play 5tech for us better than anybody in 2016, yes that includes buckner. Has good vision and plays very disruptive. Isn't too reliant on strength or athleticism and shows quality technique even though it could use some refining, appears very coachable. High floor and ceiling. If you haven't already, check out his film.

Also, is travin dural returning for his senior year? I was real big on him and I'm tryna figure out where the hype went, haven't seen his name in months.

As soon as I saw this thread I said oh my gosh Travin Dural! Lol he'll be just like OBJ imo. But yes he did return to LSU.

I like him a lot as a safety. He really struggles to turn his head in coverage but if he keeps the play in front of him then he is absolute gold making plays on the ball. He could be the ideal future replacement for weddle as he brings physicality and turnover ability if he is at safety. Perfect convert pick for us

i would be stoked if we land him next year. Realistically how long do you see the Webby-Weddle duo lasting? maybe two years at most? Weddle might stay longer, but no guarantees it seems by the way his contract is structured.

Give me Jourdan Lewis over any CB in this draft and next years

I figured that we would rebound this year and he might be available in the 20's as JoeyFlex said he might be a better safety than corner, but he could stay at corner if he is coached up well. Great ball skills and a play maker.

He really reminds me of Jamal Lewis when I see him run. His acceleration is incredible for a guy his size, and he seems to have pretty good vision too. And yeah, once he gets some momentum going he's damn near impossible for anyone to tackle one on one in the open field.

I'll add one more thing about Perine, just picture what it'd be like for the Ravens offense to have a Jamal Lewis-esque running back while also having deep threats like Perriman and Williams. Teams won't be able to stack the box, and the play action would be deadly.

Next year's class looks really good atm compared to this year's, but it may be one of those "grass is greener" deals. That said, I would be thrilled if we could get an additional first round pick next year by trading back. I'd do it with little thought. I'd probably even consider doing it if Bosa is there. Not sure I'd do it if Ramsey is there and certainly wouldn't if we can get Tunsil..

Yeah, two first round picks next year would be amazing, and I probably would let someone else pick Bosa for an extra 1st round pick. The Ravens could even potentially use those two picks to trade our way into the top 10 for an elite player.

Carl Lawson and Desmond King. I was crushed they weren't in the draft this year.

Carl Lawson could end up top 10 if he stays healthy and progresses in the hands department. He was one of my favorite college players early in the draft process and I thought we could get him with a 3rd if He declared. Sad sad sad

Yeah Perine was good with stacked boxes imagine the damage he could do in a 4 WR set with 6 guys in the box. Yes please I'm in

Considering Justin Forsett will be in a contract year in 2017, we'll probably take a RB high. I'm looking at Royce Freemen out of Oregon and possibly Dalvin Cook out of FSU if falls to us - wherever we pick.

Same here, those two caught my eye recently. Perine, Cook, Freeman, McCaffrey... We got a lot of options, even in the 2nd round. Freeman is a helluva receiver from what I've seen.

you already mentioned Perine, King, Garrett so I'll keep stressing my love for Carl Lawson and I'll add Greg McMullen (DT, Nebraska) and Travin Dural in

He just retired from football

Be prepared for RBs everywhere in the 2017 draft class

Yep, some phenomenal RB talent next year.

And despite my earlier remarks, I'm adding to the list:

Jonathan Allen, DL
Reuben Foster, LB
Eddie Jackson, S

Yes, all from Alabama.

Oh right.. that's who I forgot about: Jonathan Allen.

Thanks allblack for reminding. That guy was my favourite Bama Dlineman; he's going to be a first rounder, at very least.

Btw I second rmw. Kudos to the guy. He'd have had a real shot in the NFL; hope he succeeds in what he likes.

Stacy Coley, WR from Miami. Smooth athlete who's finally playing under a real head coach now. Should show out this coming season.

I'm adding Josey Jewell to the conversation.. clearly the most talented Junior ILB as the 2016 season kicks off.
God, there's so much defensive talent in next year's class, already.

I'll try to follow Adoree Jackson this year, I didn't find him phenomenal on the few USC games I've watched, but he's intriguing so I want to see how he manage his athleticism.

Maybe add Tim Williams, OLB to this list, but let this season play out since he wasn't a full time starter in 2015

Love Tim Williams. Not sure he'll ever be more than a pure pass rusher, but I'd be alright with that. The guy is an animal.

No poaching allowed. He's my guy and I made a decision to only allow Ozzie to take him from me.

I put him in the OP and I wanted him in the 2nd this year. You sir, are the poacher.

Actually grim pointed him out to me and I've been a fan ever since

Yeah, I really like Allen a lot. He was the best player on the Alabama DL when I watched them and constantly pressured the QB. They seemed to bring him in whenever they needed a guy to get to the QB. Great use of hands and good jump off the ball.

No, no my friend - he's allblack's since the beginning of last season. Like DH was since 2014.

Certificate can be obtained by calling N. Saban.
