Sure is you can definitely say that again.

Gonna be nice having an experienced vet in the backfield.  :-)

Agreed, but we had experienced veterans at every secondary position last year. However, the coaching in the secondary left a lot to be desired. While I'm excited about the Weddle signing, I'm much more excited that we hired Leslie Frazier to coach the secondary. He had a proven track record as the Eagles' secondary coach- finishing top 10 in pass defense 3 of the 4 seasons he was secondary coach.

We need smart defenders like Weddle. I haven't really heard of players being committed to film study since the Ed Reed/ Ray Lewis days. Not making that comparison, just stating I like to hear when a player is a "student of the game"

Well, Weddle has just joined a team that will get the best out of him. That's what happens when you leave a lesser franchise for an epic one. Good move Weddle.

out of the signings we had this FA period this is the one that had me the most excited.

Living in California we get a lot of Charger games on tv and i have been a Weddle fan for a while, he always reminded a bit of Reed on the back end, he's not as great as Reed if you ask me but he is certainly very capable of filling that role for us and helping the young guys on the back end learn the game.

"I don't know if there is this in Baltimore now, but there is going to be a breakfast club," McCoy said. "He'll be in there at 4:30, 5 o'clock in the morning from time-to-time, and he'll be one of the last guys to leave. He truly loves the game of football, and his preparation, everything he does leading up to the games is second to none, defensively.

Last guy we had on defense who studied like this was....?

Yea being down here in SoCal, hearing all the good things people say about Weddle just makes me more excited.

Good news is we got a baller in Weddle. ? The bad news is that the Chargers will draft Ramsey to take his place. ?

Ramsey wouldn't have made it to us anyways, Dallas and Jax would both take him

one reason for WEDDLE'S exit was that he loved bringing his children to practice so he could spend as much time with them as possible during the long season and SAN DIEGO stopped allowing that with player's.but the RAVEN'S understand that and it's a better family enviroment.

Harbaugh has said that many times. They love having the kids around.

Agreed, Frazier is the key but still nice to see he was given weddle to help
