Who would you pick at 36th in the 2nd round?

Who would you pick with the 36th pick of the 2nd round??   75 members have voted

  1. 1. I personally think the 36th pick in the 2nd round has a bigger group of possibilities, considering our FO always goes BPA in the 1st round. If the cards play out right we potentially could end up with a true 1st round quality player picking that early in the 2nd. Who you think will be there and who would you pick?

    • Mackenzie Alexander/ CB
      19
    • Artie Burns/ CB

    • William Jackson/ CB

    • Kendall Fuller/ CB

There are too many variables to consider but I think the option for "other" should be included here, too.

I knew that,  but I figured we have some fun with it and see what people think about our options.

I went with Ifedi but I would also like Spriggs here too lol(other). Really gotta cover the LT position. William Jackson is also another one I really like but I think he's going in the 1st. Just hope the Squeelers don't get him lol.

This is all with the Ravens going defense with their 1st pick.

I said Cody Whitehair, not sure he makes it past the last few teams of the first round, but he has a nice mean streak that would greatly help our oline.

I'm going with Artie Burn. The Ravens could really use a great athlete like him at DB, and he could really develop into a playmaker.

I think Bullard is very underrated. He reminds me a good bit of a shorter Bosa. Clean and tight playstyle and disruption just comes natural to him. He can line up at de or dt in our scheme and with a bit of work he very well could play OLB on the strong side as well. Love his mean streak too.

Other than that I went with Alexander, wj3, and Boyd. I think a lot of the guys named are reaches at 36 or just aren't great fits for our situation.

I thought we had the 38th?

No way he falls that far, but Docston would be the obvious choice out of those guys you listed, regardless of who we took in the first

I would like Spriggs OT or J.Smith OLB at 36 .... would like both if we traded down in the 1st.

M.Alexander, Jackson III, Spence or Ogbah would be my choices from your list

Why is that obvious? Doctson really isn't anything to rave about lol. Especially not over a lot of guys on this list

Have you watched him? He looked terrible in the film I saw. Been thinking I need to 're-watch because Mayock likes him.

no  instinct..not a good tackler.not sure what it is I'm missing.

Coleman is my #1 WR in the draft. I would squeal like a school girl who was given starbucks if we landed him

Same, I would be thrilled

I think Spence is probably my favorite option on this list, but also the least-likely. The Seahawks need to replace Irvin; the Bengals could use more of an edge rush; the Steelers don't care about guys with drug problems and could use more pass rush. There are too many teams at the end of the first who are willing to take a risk on a top-10 talent with character concerns.

Spriggs is an OT I like a lot more than these other guys you listed, although I assume you're leaving him off because he'll probably go in the first anyway.

There are a lot of good late-first/early-second round CBs to choose from if one of them drops. If they don't go VH3 at #6, then picking up one of these guys could be a solid option from a need/value perspective. Fuller, X.Howard, and W.Jackson all seem like good value in the 2nd.

And what I just said about CBs goes for WRs. Boyd is probably my favorite WR in this class; would have no problem with him atop the 2nd.

I like Spence but not a chance in #£\\ he is there in round2. The draft is to shallow at edge rusher!! Last draft is very deep at edge rusher and he could of fell to late round2 or even 3. When a dude as good as daneel Hunter is drafted in round3 that is a draft with loads of the edge rush flavor!! I turned the draft off left for Mothers when he got picked just before the ravens were up. But this draft Spence is going round1. Would be cool to get'em there but he and Nkemdiche will be with a rival team already when ravens are up in round2. If ravens really want to inject some juice into the defense, move around the board to get Spence and Nkemdiche.

I would obviously love Spence based on his skill set, especially because we need some speed on defense to continue our tradition of being lethal in the pass rushing department, but with his drug history and other teams desperately wanting or needing a pass rusher, I don't see him dropping past the Browns in the second at the very latest. My second favorite is Alexander. Many think that he will go in the first and I thought it too for the longest time, but with the hype train picking up new passengers in WJIII, Burns, and Apple because of their length and athleticism and occasional play making abilities, which I think Jackson is by far the best and most well-rounded of the three, the chances of Alexander making it to our pick based on team's preferences to take long cover corners with forced turnovers is very plausible. But by all means I would go on the record by stating that Alexander within two years could turnout to be a Harris Jr like corner that has very sticky coverage abilities that allows him to wash receivers out often. Just watching his tape, you can see how fluent his hips are and how quickly he can change direction and accelerate to mirror his opponent. He is aggressive in press coverage and ultra competitive as he always took the #1 receiver. With some coaching to help him locate the ball to make some plays on it, or at least to avoid any penalties, he and Jimmy Smith could really frustrate top receiver combos for years.

In almost all of your posts I can see how highly you are on Nkemdiche, which I think he could turnout to be an elite prospect one day, but coming out now, he just looks like a project, very similar to Clowney as far as development--I know they are different positions though. With our win now mentality, we need a more polished player with better technique. Nkemdiche is a stellar athlete and has rare explosion, but he often bursts through the line without having a clue where the ball is and he ends up being completely ineffective on plays, which could easily be worked on too, but his collegiate sack total wasn't overwhelming either.

Spence no matter who we take in 1st. Can you imagine somehow ending up with Bosa & Spence? I can't even. lol

Jackson, Whitehair or Coleman/Doctson would be great too.

I don't think Spence is there, but if he is we take him regardless of who we take in the 1st.

If we do take Bosa/Buckner, id like to see William Jackson.

If we end up going VH3 in the first, Spence isn't there, I would take Ogbhah.  Just something about him I think turns out good.

As much as I don't think it will happen, id rather use that pick and another to move back into the first to grab someone who ends up slipping.  Although I don't know who that is lol.

I don't think we take Stanley at 6.  Either someone will drop, or we'll go in a different direction like VH3.  So I'd like Whitehair or Decker in the second.  I just don't think either will be there.  Ogbah is my realistic pick.

(Alexander or Spence falling to us just seems too good to be true)

I went with Alexander I really like him. Spence would have been good but I'm really not sure with the drug addition and off the field issues.

If spence is there obviously you have to take him. I've also actually seen a few mocks from professional analysts that think Treadwell might fall out of the first . Doubt it. If not wj3 or fackrell
