I am still worried because I have a gut feeling that type of knee injury is the kind of injury that could reoccur. I hope I am wrong.

If you're interested in medical history more than a gut feeling, I don't think a grade II knee sprain has ever caused chronic issues, or at least not in recent history. Keenan Allen had a grade II PCL sprain, just like Perriman, and he took more than 6 months to fully recover, but once it was healed, it didn't cause him any more issues.

@ RavensBaltimore; Hey Osgood Schlatters (childhood growing pains) goes away in your late teeens when you stop growing. This knee injury that happened this year had nothing to do with that. I had OS when I was 14 in left knee and if anything I have tendonitis as a 36 year old in my right knee. Also please reread the reponse about Keenan Allen. Not your fault, a majority of fans who are a little ignorant to medicine are making assumptions

I think maybe your comment was directed at someone else. I never said OSD had anything to do with his injury. In fact, I have told people many times that it doesn't, and I am one of the ones who posted about Keenan Allen in the first place.
