I have three sons. They are 30, 28 and the youngest will be 25 tomorrow.  I love them as much as when I first held them in my arms.  I can only imagine what Tray's family is going through.  Way too young.

I am a die hard Steelers fan but today I stand with the Ravens family during their grieving of the tragic loss of Tray.  My heart goes out to the Walker family, the Ravens team and Ravens Nation.  I pray for Tray's family and for Raven's Nation.  What a terrible tragedy, may the good Lord keep him and take care of him.

Thanks Greg for taking the time to comment and realizing

Football is only a game but life is precious God Bless you and God Bless Tray Walker and his family.

I Get the shivers when I hear it... Still doesn't seem real... Things like this takes the heart out of you... Wish we could have seen him blossom, but the lord had other plans... 23 years old too...

Its a really bad but popular practice, but for some reason the kids nowadays especially in the south are starting to ride these dirt bikes while doing stunts and willies without helmets. You hate to see things like this happen.

Awful news. My heart goes out to his family. Always wear a helmet when you ride, even if it's just a dirtbike, and even if it's just a short ride.

My heart goes out to Tray's family and friends. Also to the guy driving the SUV, I'm sure he's suffering right now too.

We've all made mistakes on the road, most of the time we are lucky enough to not suffer the consequences.

I'm sure he could have developed into a solid young player. But beyond that, far more important, is the fact that he was practically still a kid. Far too young. Very sad.

From an NFL fan in Germany, RIP, Tray W. God wanted you at his side. Only He knows why. Tears in my eyes now.

A tragedy for the family and the team. They say that only the good die young and this kind of makes you agree to that old adage.

What is very sad about this situation is the lack of love being shown by the NFL Network. If this were another CB from a more beloved team, the coverage would be blanketing the network.

This is just a ridiculous comment. What IS sad, is that a GOOD young man's life was taken way too early. Prayers to the family.

This may be over the top and I could be wrong but I think his number should be retired. He is the first Ravens player to pass away. So so sad and I feel so badly for his family. Twenty three ? It just isn't supposed to be like this. It just isn't.

You never think this will happen to you, your family or your extended family. However, it is always a reminder to hug your loved ones a little tighter, tell someone you love them that is long overdue, appreciate those you work with a little more and ask the God of your belief for peace for this young man and his family. We owe this young man a ring...

Its not just down south, I live here in MD and you see this stuff heavily all over DC and MD. I hate to say it, but the guys I've seen that are really careless about the rules of the road are the guys riding the ATV's and dirtbikes on public roads. I know it looks cool and whatever, but its also very dangerous. When Im driving I have great awareness and always give people riding 2-wheel vehicles the right away, but not everyone is like that. I've actually met people that swear they will not give people on bikes the right away, its really sad. When I heard about T. Walker riding with no lights on I just said "damn". Saddened by this.

I noticed this also....you can't even comment on the article (at NFL.COM). Cold man, cold!!!!

I think this is more to do with the fact that there would be the inevitable trolls who would show up and say stupid things.  nfl.com is full of trolls.

Great to see some Steelers fans showing up here and saying some kind words, just goes to show that great rivalries breed respect.  Hats off to you chaps.

Why are the cops looking for new england player?

As a witness. Apparently he was a friend of Tray's, saw what happened, and fled. By all accounts, the woman driving the SUV stayed and was cooperative with the police. No drugs or alcohol were involved.

Why are the cops looking for new england player?

Maybe he let the air out of his tires?

The alleged Pats player was a witness. If there was one there, then he left the scene suspiciously without contacting the police. Too much coincidence for two random NFL players on the scene at the same time, then to just disappear. They obviously want to rule out any foul play.

It's sad reading these team comments. Just a tragic turn for a promising young player. I hope some good can be made of this in Tray's name.

Condolences to the Walker Family, and the Baltimore Ravens family. I have a high school aged son, as well as college age daughters, and I cant even begin to imagine the thought of losing them at such a young age. Thoughts and prayers are with the Walker family in this time of tragedy and healing, as well as to all of the countless parents who have lost sons and daughters in our military.

Such sad news. I hope the team does something special for him and his family, maybe a commemoration at the home opener

A black arm band with #25 on team jerseys for the 2016 season, to honor Tray would be a nice gesture !

I have been depressed ever since I heard that Tray had passed. I am glad that the articles have been focused on Tray. I like that the players and coaches are sharing their stories and love for Tray. I also like the heartfelt messages by so many members. I find it very touching. Ravens Nation is a family and I find it comforting that we all pull together during times like this.
