That is an important message to send to the rest of our team. More importantly I would've liked Harbs to be on the first plane to Miami to be with Tray and his family through this trying and perilous time. Prayers are still up for you Tray. The entire Ravens fanbase is thinking about you, so fight and get well.

As one who bleeds Black and Gold, I rarely if ever visit this site but wanted to read the letter from Coach Harbaugh in full. My prayers are out for Tray. John Harbaugh is a great coach and we obviously, as fans, ramp up the hate each year when playing his Ravens squads. (I love the rivalry he has with Tomlin.) But all that rivalry stuff is a life escape and "leisure".

This tragedy transcends a rivalry and Coach Harbaugh's heart-felt letter shows the person side of the man and his relationship with his players (or really "sons"). You have a great organization there and we will continue to pray for Tray. I will say this out of respect for your organization and for Tray himself - Go Ravens. My wish is that he awakens from his non-responsive state and can live a normal as possible life.

P.S. We look forward to paying you guys back for last year.

Was so sorry to hear about this yesterday. How very fortunate our team is led by the extraordinary John Harbaugh. Thank you Coach for sharing your letter to the team. It means so much to me to be included. I am with the rest of Ravens Nation pulling for Tray's recovery and support for his family.

Now that is class. Thank you. This is life and death and not just a game. I am so glad you made that known in your comment.

P.S. Here's to two more nail biters next season. May the best team win. Of course that will be the Ravens lol.

Coach Harbaugh's letter is heart felt and such a great piece of advice for everyone. So sorry that something like this has happened to Tray and while I'm a fan of a team that isn't well liked by Baltimore, I still think the fan base should unite to bring prayers and well wishes to Tray, his team, his family and his friends. This is an unfortunate tragedy and I hope he is able to return to the people and the game he loves.

Thank you Dean, it's times like this that the game feels small, but the NFL family is large.  All differences are put aside.  Wishing Tray a speedy recovery.

Outstanding letter and message to the team from Harbs. I think the message will resonate on the deepest level with the players as a teammate is fighting for survival. Sure, riding a dirt bike on a public road at night wearing dark clothes without a helmet is a very reckless thing to do. However, although I am decades older than most of these players, I made more than my share of "young and stupid" decisions, as have most people at 1 time or another in 1 way or another. I don't think that this is the time or place to focus on Tray's poor judgment as he fights to stay alive and pull through this. Not only have I made some stupid mistakes in life when I was younger but I now have 2 young adult male children who are doing well but they were also lucky enough to avoid life threatening consequences for some of their own poor decisions. The letter from Harbs to the players was a sincere and heartfelt attempt to share his grief and encourage his players to pause and reflect upon their future choices. I just pray that Tray pulls through this and has a chance to live a full and happy life, regardless of whether he has a future in football.

It is heartbreaking to hear that Tray has died. I really was praying that he could pull through. I am numb and my heart goes out to his family, friends and fellow players and coaches at the Ravens who cared so deeply about him.

This just me but why names like Tray, Travon, Travis, Walker, etc are names that people died in a young age with. Those names are curse with some reason. ?

My deepest condolences go out to the entire Walker family in the loss of their son, brother, nephew, cousin or uncle etc.

And....I must say Coach Harbaugh's letter in a time like this speaks volumes of who he is as a coach but more as a man! Very moving! Very touching! Very truthful!

"WE ARE BROTHERS IN ARMS TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER!"
