I was also thinking the Ravens should do something for him. Like on the uniforms.

I thought about retiring 25 maybe idk

I'd be surprised if they don't have a helmet decal and/or jersey patch.  I imagine they'll also take 25 out of circulation for at least this year.

This hits a lot harder than I thought when I read all the comments by the teammates. I can't believe it was just kind words because they all said the exact same thing: he was a bright, happy young man who made the most of every day. It's a terrible tragedy and the saddest day in Ravens history since I became a fan in 2008.

i never shed much tears but all the comments and everything really hit home... it's amazing how much the league is coming together over this tragedy

I got the notification earlier on my phone and was in shock. I was really hoping he'd pull through. I hate seeing such a bright future, whether it's in football or not, taken so young. I'm glad to see all teams sending condolences and prayers. It shows that the NFL is more than just a league, and that football is more than just a game.

RIP Tray Walker.

Heartbreaking. He touched many hearts in his short life. I hope that in time his loved ones will simply be grateful for the time they had, with no sorrow.

This is the year all Ravens players pray in honor of #25 - young Tray Walker. Play hard and play well. Now, you all know life is fragile. Make the most of it because I know I will. #prayfortray #playfortray

This really bums me out. I thought maybe a couple of hours would make it not as bad, but I'm legitimately bummed out by this. I was really impressed by how he looked in the PS games, and while he still had some ways to go, I thought he showed promise. I wish this man and his family all the best in life. It's a shame that he lost his dad recently and now his family has to deal with his loss now.

Very sad, could have easily been prevented unfortunately. Hopefully we use this in a positive light to teach kids and some adults not to ride dirt bikes on the street at night (especially with no helmet, lights, and wearing dark clothes).

RIP

hopefully something good can come out of it like it bringing awareness to the importance of helmets and maybe a safety vest if your riding at night.

Very good point and off road dirt bikes obviously need to stay off the public roads. They are obviously not equipped with lights and standard visibility safety features a street legal bike would have. Treat this huge media situation in a positive light by bringing attention to the issue that caused the tragedy and maybe others will be saved from it. I know its currently illegal to ride non street legal dirt bikes on public roads obviously but people need to be reminded of the reason why sometimes.

Hopefully all the media attention this generates might save a couple more lives! Bikes are no joke as it is, no need to take extra risks!

Rip, feEl for his family.

The irony of a helmet decal... not meant as a joke in anyway whatsoever. May just have been the thing that could have saved his life.

Very sad situation praying for the Walker family. It's good to see fans of other teams paying respects. I agree no 25 this year with the patch and sticker would be very appropriate.

To the Friends and family of the forum and all visitors, PLEASE wear a helmet and practice ALL safety procedures when operating motorcycles! You never know what'll happen. Don't let Tray's death be in vain! Learn from him and make him proud!

On a somewhat lighter note I would imagine the team is going to reorganize the lockers now, I'm not a superstitious man but with this incident and the incidents involving everyone who used the same row of lockers I can't imagine the team doesn't atleast look into some sort of change.

Two days after the accident, there is still a hollow emptied out feeling in my gut when I think about this young man and his family. A devastating loss; football player or otherwise, Raven or otherwise. Just so sad. RIP Tray. You've captured the hearts of the entire NFL fraternity, if not in life, certainly in death. Peace and strength to your family and friends.

Also, to honor him I would like the Ravens to wear a black band with the #25 or a patch and yes it should be retired for the year.

Does anybody know anymore? I feel so badly for the kid and I sincerely hope he recovers and gets well. Heartfelt prayers with you Tray!

Freakey!

It's interesting that the media isn't paying much attention to this story and hasn't truly addressed it but cast it as Breaking News. If it had been Brady or Favre it would be talked about at nauseum.   I truly hope it's there way of respecting the families privacy. Also the idea of Patriots player alleged involvement is curiously media muted. Baltimore can't get it's proper due even in tragedy.

When I first heard of the accident and they mentioned no helmet and critical condition, my exact thoughts were wow no helmet this really lowered his chances in this type of accident. Amount of head trauma he was vulnerable too.

Really an unfortunate situation.

It is amazing how we feel so deeply for this young man who we really don't know personally. Ravens family goes wide and deep and much respect from other NFL ers is  also very intense. I feel for his family, this is painful, and so sad.  From all who actually did know him, he was a great guy working to be a great player on a great team.

let's remember to be positive, and like our Tray, keep smiling.

best regards to his family, we are with you.

This season is for you Tray. RIP brother. Only the good die young

Here's what we should do. At the 25 yardline for each side just put his number there.

I think they should do a TW or 25 patch on the jerseys this season like they did for Art in 2012.

Keep him on their hearts at least for the season.

And, not that this is the important part, but when we did it in 2012 we wound up with the Lombardi Trophy. It'd be one heck of a way to honor his life by making him a postumas (sp?) Super Bowl champion... And then make a ring for him to give to his family that they can either keep in his memory or auction off to a charity of their choice or a motorcycle safety organization.

My father teaches advanced motorcycle safety courses so Trays passing really hit him. Wishes he could've had a chance to teach Tray a few things that could've saved his life - but it made him realize the impact of what he does. He volunteers and spends most of his weekends outside of his regular 60 hour work weeks teaching these classes. But, he really does save lives.

If you ride motorcycles or plan to, I implore you to please contact your local DMV and sign up for a rider safety course. You're exposed as a rider and most drivers in cars don't properly respect the danger they present to your life. Sometimes even doing everything safely as a rider isn't enough bc there are wreckless drivers out there, but taking all the proper precautions and learning what danger signs/situations to look for and avoid can literally save your life.

Tray's and death unfortunately are a sobering reminder of both instances... Not taking the proper precautions and other drivers forgetting they are behind the wheel of a deadly weapon.

RIP Tray. You're sorely missed. A frustratingly avoidable and painfully unmistakeable loss. #RavensFamilyForLife

I don't know about other areas of the country but down here, dirt bikes on the streets are out of control.  It's a huge status symbol in my neighborhood and many others in the surrounding areas, and it's crazy. I'm sure if you were to google Miami MLK motorcycles you get the idea of what happens on our streets daily. And the sad thing is, Trays passing won't be a lesson to kids here because the young generation want to be considered cool and think they're indestructible. I heard the roar all weekend of these bikes on roads and every time I thought did these kids not hear about Tray?
