Same here. This is getting worse.

With the words dirt bike this sounds more like some young kids having fun and turned into parents worse nightmare, the potential patriots player nowhere to be found though is really strange though.

I wish him a full recovery.

I broke my neck on a motorcycle. It's a surprisingly common occurrence for young men his age, as half the people when I went to rehab after my accident were men in their late teens/early 20s who broke their neck/spines on motorcycles (the other half were gunshot wounds).

Some folks are never the same. The guy next to me in shock trauma had permanent brain damage after his motorcycle accident. I never walked again after mine. Always wear a helmet and ride safely.

Hope he can live a normal life

Can someone tell me if there is a helmet law in Florida?

There isn't.

Does anybody know anymore? I feel so badly for the kid and I sincerely hope he recovers and gets well. Heartfelt prayers with you Tray!

Everyone asking about the @Patriots connection, yes, according to more than one #Local10 source, it is real.

Freakey!

We're having a bad off-season.  OTAs can't start soon enough.

We are talking about a young human life with a lot of potential here. Just pray for the kid to recover and forget about OTAs.

This is very sad to hear. Its unfortunate when a kid has his whole life ahead of him and is relatively successful at such a young age and they are struck by tragedy. Hoping for the best.

Uh,

Miami police say @Ravens' Tray Walker was riding a dirt bike without headlights at the time of crash http://bsun.md/22owh6q  @baltimoresun

Did not hear about the lights but was not wearing a helmet either. I know there isn't a helmet law in Florida but c'mon man. Hope he pulls through and is alright for living his life - then alright for football, but that is secondary right now.

Agreed, forget football, I heard he was in critical condition so he really needs our prayers. May God help him with his injuries and get him through this difficult situation.

This is just so sad.  Looks like he was riding with friends and, based on the time of day, probably meant to be home by dark but stayed too long.  What a horrible penalty for that mistake.  Thoughts, wishes, prayers for Tray and his family.

God, if it is your will, restore Mr. Walker's health.

Unfortunately, motorcycles are and always will be dangerous, even at no fault of the rider. Remember when Big Has Ben crashed his bike?  Too many people I've known have met their end on them.

#Ravens CB Tray Walker spent all night in surgery after a horrific motorcycle crash. He is fighting for his life right now.
