No brainer. Brown is cheap and fits in with the recent "sign 35 receivers and see who stands out in camp" strategy they've adopted. Put some others on special teams and cut the rest of em loose.

Trawick is gone and Brown can play ST. tray Tray Walker didn't make a huge impact before getting concussed. Make no mistake we are going need bodies as the season goes so even if he doesn't have a major role it's better to go with someone not starting from square one. That's just my armchair opinion.

Marlon Brown? Again? Man we are really begging for more punishment. The guy disappeared more and more with each passing year and was totally invisible last year despite all the starting receivers being out.

We keep Brown who was a bust last year and D.Smith walk.Wow! Well I hope Weddle pays off.If we were going to get him we should've signed Ed a couple of years ago,would've been a better sign and our secondary would've been solid by now.

From what I remember Chris Carter is the guy we missed out on in 2011 when we got screwed by the Bears.

Edit: He has zero production so we didn't miss out on anything, but Jerry Angelo is still a snake.
