Well, Wallace and Watson have certainly talked up Flacco. Obviously, neither has seen him play the last three years. The REASON both are here is NOT Average Joe, It's $$$$$!

Not true at all. Weddle turned down a higher offer to come here, and Wallace apparently  had "several" other teams willing to offer as much if not more. They are both at a point in their careers where winning counts for more than money.

luckily mallett has a strong arm as well so there is no change in the game plan as far as going deep if flacco has to miss any time

Flacco has been under-throwing the ball alot lately. Throwing off of the back foot because of the lack of protection. Look at the film!

Am I the only one that doesn't like what we've done this offseason?! One of our biggest problems is we are old and overpaid on both sides of the ball, and we bring in Wallace and Weddle? Would have preferred Brian Quick, David Bruton, and using the cap savings to retain Kelechi.

Old and overpaid on both sides of the ball? Do you know how contradictory that sounds after saying bringing in unproven players and giving the money to KO? Pitta's career is over. Maxx is very young. Gilmore is recovering. And Boyle is suspended. I think Maxx is going to be a stud but too soon yet. Bringing in Watson was excellent. Even at 35 he's a very good TE and even higher character. Ravens find out Will Hill is suspended again. Cut and in comes Weddle, excellent move. He was one of the top FA's on the market and didn't overspend to get him. Perriman was hurt last year but should play this season. In comes Wallace. Now the Ravens have dual deep threats which is what Wallace was when the Dolphins overpaid him with their weak armed QB. I like it. Let's not forget the second round tender the Ravens gave ERFA Aiken. Brilliant. Ravens FO killed it and haven't even drafted yet. They have nine picks. Early 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, including three late 4th round picks. This draft is loaded on defense. Let's go win a SB.

I love being right. I was right about KO and Upshaw. I said KO would make the pro bowl. Being one of the best is good enough for me. I liked the Buck Allen pick after taking Taliafero. I was right about Kubiak and bringing Forsett and Daniels with him. I still think Elam and Arthur Brown can be productive. I was right about the OL depth in 2013 after the Ravens won a SB. I was right about the CB depth in 2014 when I saw Chykie Brown 3rd on the depth chart and only four CB's. And the Ravens still almost won a SB with a healthy Suggs and good OC and good OL. I loved it when they signed Boldin and Jacoby Jones. I loved when they signed Derrick Mason. And I loved it when they signed Steve Smith. I liked Torrey Smith but knew he wasn't worth #1 WR money. I was even right about Ray Rice and his wife spitting on him.

@Saxxin at first l wanted Bosa, then l wanted Buckner, then l wanted Ramsey but what makes a hole lot of sense and I kinda think about it is that l think they should draft Myles Jack because we got a huge hole at LB the most and him pair with CJ Mosely would fit perfectly. Yes, we got a huge hole at corner opposite of Jimmy Smith but not that huge of a hole. We got corners that could play at least average like Webb or Arrington to hold it down also you got Weddle back there to help us out. On defensive line we got talent there so it's not a huge hole there. They could get Noah Spence if he slips there for pass rushing (hope he slips to us) in the 2 round. Myles Jack and Noah Spence would be the two players l believe would be the best picks. I wouldn't mind getting Bosa, Buckner, or Ramsey, but Myles Jack makes the more since due to the most huge hole on our team LB. :-)

I don't see MLB being one of the top and arguably 3 biggest needs on this team currently.

If we don't get stability at LT one way or another, it won't matter who are MLBs are. And if we can't get a consistent pass rush, it also doesn't matter who our MLBs are.

Both of those areas, in my mind, are the biggest question marks. We've got some quality players to cover those spots WHEN healthy, but its a big gamble to expect Suggs to be a top two rusher coming off an achilles tear at his age, much like its a huge gamble to just leave the blindside to Monroe and Hurst.

I like Myles Jack a lot... I think he'll be a great player. If we drafted him, I'd be happy. But I think in a perfect world, they'd draft Stanley or one of the two best pass rushers left (if there is one), being Buckner or Bosa. Maybe they are all gone... who knows.

Overall, I think the FO is somewhat "content" with the secondary as is. Maybe add some cheap depth at corner and a mid-late round developmental player, though not sure how the unexpected losses of Hill and Walker have affected that assessment. But I certainly don't expect Ramsey to be there at 6, and I don't think we'd draft another secondary player at 6 if its not him.

If I were to handicap the draft likelihood for #6 right now based on my judgment:

1. Pass rusher (either Bosa or Buckner)

2. Stanley

3. Jack

I'm basing this mostly off the idea that the FO was adamant that they wanted to add pass rushers, and they've done nothing in FA to even signify they are looking at FA to address that need. That means the draft. Time will tell whether their lack of faith in Monroe will affect this decision.

Additionally, hard for me to see us spending two 1st round picks in three years on MLBs, particularly in a division with so much less emphasis on running the ball.

If the Ravens can add a couple of guys in the trenches on offense and defense, including taking a few LB's one early. I would feel better if they drafted a safety and CB also. Maybe another RB with a 4th round comp pick. They're definitely in the big picture.

Checking out teams rosters and deciding what positions need to be filled and deciding which prospects are the right fit is a full time job.
