Welcome To Baltimore Mike Wallace

Deep threats are great if we have time. Starting to actually change my mind and root for a LT in the first. A running game similar to 2014 would help, as well, to use play action and cheat DBs up.

I like everything we're trying to do this offseason. I'm excited to see it work out.

Yes, we need to give Flacco ample time and get him some protection.  When given a ton of time, hes pretty darn good.  When given average to no time, he underthrows every deep ball and makes boneheaded plays.  PLEASE GO OLINE FOR THE ENTIRE DRAFT!!!!  Ha!  I dont want to get a lump in my throat on every deep ball to Wallace and/or Perriman.

Couldn't resist, could you? Under throws "every" deep ball with "average" time, though? Don't even think Flacco was mentioned to draw that comment.

All we need from him is that one trick.... We have our possession receivers already.

Flacco has SSS. I would actually take our current WR group over Arizona's, just have to stay healthy.

What lmao. One of the best all time in Fitz still has great years ahead of him. Of the best up and comers in brown, with a big physical Floyd to compliment. Easily the best threesome in the league.

Arizona definitely has a monster WR core....I guess we see things differently, Fitz is still a monster, still quick and has HANDS. Floyd is an animal and Brown burns you and has HANDS....I don't know what tape you've seen but I'd def take that core

This signing makes a ton of sense. Wallace is a proven and premiere deep ball receiver. Something we need with Perriman playing in what is essentially his rookie season. He'll probably never be a number 1 receiver, but unlike his last 2 teams we know that. The last time he had an arm in Joe's class throwing to him he did pretty well.

If we stuck to the 80/20 rule, I wonder if re-signing Givens would have worked out. I said before it looked like he was developing a connection with our QB before the injury.

I'm gonna just hope Wallace has a real career resurgence with us, and he shows the past couple years were symptoms of the systems and QBs he was playing with. I'll say again, though, I like the effort and what we're trying to accomplish.

How could this NOT turn into a Flacco thread? The idiocy amuses me.

Yeah honestly if the guy still has above average speed then he'll be fine for the role we're using him in.

Hope it's not too much guaranteed. I wanted Wallace but that's a big salary, I'm excited to see the specifics of the deal.

I think Wallace is the ideal #3 here, like literally we can't find a better one.

Stanley in the 1st ain't looking so bad, give Joe ample time with these targets and he could do some serious damage

First thing I want to see at camp is a race between Wallace and Perriman

Both guys have 4.3 speed, such a sick duo if Perriman pans out

After feeling excited all last offseason, I am going to spend the spring and summer months tempering my expectations for the 2016 season.

That being said, I'm happy with the signing and very intrigued to see what Joe does with the weapons on the field.  I'm even more uncertain whether or not we should go pass rush or LT in the first round.  While we definitely need to shore up the offensive line, I can see our defense having a tough year if we still aren't able to generate any sort of pass rush.

Good thing the $ is not coming out of your pocket then huh? Lol

That 1 trick donkey had couple 1000yard seasons with Ben. Imagine improving our O line in the draft or maybe FA and Flacco has the time to throw deep to Wallace, SSS, or perriman! That's all trestman might need from him is to take the top off defenses. SSS, Max, Ben Watson, Aiken or Perriman can work the middle. Just sit back and enjoy the ride pal.

"Perriman with the trainers, bruised his knee while stretching."

"It's not serious - Coach Harbaugh"

"Ravens place Breshad Perriman on season-ending IR"

Why the hell is everyone so worried about oline? We were top three in sacks allowed and top 12 in hits allowed - even with Hurst playing so much. Pass protection was not a significant issue. I realize that public opinion has soured on Monroe, but we really aren't that bad. It'd be nice to have a quality backup at LT, but quality backups at LT are practically a myth. It wouldn't serve us well to use our top six pick on a LT that might not be a day one starter, when we do have a LT locked up.

There are more needs than LT - secondary, pass rush, and yes, receiver - that our top pick should be used for, especially with the OL coach we have. I won't be disappointed if we get Tunsil - I love the guy - but then you have a question: How do you justify benching a Top 6 LT, and how do you justify benching a guy with a franchise LT salary? If it's up to me, we're getting a LT in the 3rd of 4th, as well as some interior guys in the mid to late rounds.
