Ravens are giving former Vikings WR Mike Wallace a 2-year, $11.5 million deal, per source.

Seems fair, not too much all things considered.

I wonder what the signing bonus will be.  I'm guessing only the first year will be guaranteed (first year and bonus combined I should say) so it'll likely be a 1 year prove yourself type of deal

I'd be more comfortable with a 5M per year price tag, but I can't complain. Very excited to have him

Welcome comrade Wallace. Play like a Raven. You know the Steeler's will be hunting for yah as traitor so make them pay. So we have Perriman, Aiken, Wallace, SSsr, Butler.

He must still have elite speed.

Now for two picks in the draft.

I'd say a Fuller, Boyd, Shepard pick would bode well.

Although I wouldn't be surprised to see Ozzie trade back and get Treadwell for good measure.

Sounds alot like the deal I proposed the other day and a few people told me was way too high because he was only worth $2-3 million per year.I told you guys that was about his worth in the market.Marlon could make the $2 million you guys thought Mike Wallace was worth.

Ain't trying to be a negative nancy, but price  seems kinda high to me

I agree, but let's see the final details first.  Very often the first reported numbers are the max deal (after incentives/escalators) and not the base deal.

I would expect (hope) that it's structured as a 1-yr "prove it" deal that allows them to get out pretty easily if he fails to perform in 2016.

Wow, love what I'm seeing this offseason. Weddle and Wallace are two great acquisitions for both sides of the ball

When I saw it I thought it was a good deal...hope he meshes well with out system and Joe's arm. Didn't like how he acted in Miami

Pretty expensive but that's been the WR market this offseason (see Mohamed Sanu). Hope he produces well, $5.5M per year is a little steep for what I'm expecting.

OK Mile! Now it is time to prove your detractors in Pittsburgh wrong! They didn't want you enough to keep you, but we do. So make us look smart with our decision and put up big scores for us!

After reading some comments from MIN fans on ProFootballTalk, they speak very highly of him.  They said he was great in the locker

room w/ his teammates and coaches.  Most stated, it  wasn't a good fit for the offense they ran and Bridgewater not having a big arm to take

advantage of Wallace's speed.  They said even w/ a down season, they never heard anything negative coming from Wallace.

Wallace and Perriman are going to print yellow flags like money. We lost the PI calls when we lost Torrey.

Not a fan if the price is wrong. But he's a one trick pneu and that's what the market says.

Right now, we desperately need that one trick of his.

I like the signing. IF anything, we have names now. Do you cover the physical Steve Smith, the speedy Mike Wallace, the streaking Ben Watson, or the wildcard, Perriman (I hope he comes back and dominates as well). Aiken also gained a little respect after last season, Should be fun once the o line gets solidified. Then draft some defensive guys and this will be a huge offseason victory, imo.

I thought he would be alot more cheaper than that but it's still good The Ravens got  a solid deep threat.Hopefully Wallace hasn't loss much speed.
