SammyG's first mock

15 posts in this topic

Ok so I have waited thus far to do a mock, but please tell me what you guys think! I am only going to do the top 3 rounds.

This is contingent on what I believe will happen in that Colin Kaepernick will be a Brown, Mike Wallace and Courtney Upshaw will be Ravens.

Trade back with Rams for their 2nd and 3rd round picks this year.

Rd1. Reggie Ragland - Fills the hole next to Mosley and has pass rush capabilities.

Rd2. William Jackson III - Absolutely great depth he'll be this year and future dominant starter.

Rd2. Sterling Shepard - Adds to the depth this year with Waller moving to TE and absolutely has the means to take over SSS's role next year.

Rd3. Charles Tapper - Ravens are high on him, very athletic guy will battle with Guy and Carl Davis for the starting spot next to BW and TJ.

Rd3. LeRaven Clark - Quality depth as an insurance policy for Eugene Monroe, I believe Jensen will be a high quality LG next year.

I'm not big on Reg. I think I'd rather look at Treadwell, Coleman, or Spence there.

Also, not sure if you are aware. You can edit your posts, so you don't have to make separate posts with them.

I really want WJ3 in the 2nd!

I think wj3 is a first rounder.

Ragland is a horrible pick for us anywhere in the first. Floyd, tread, coleman, alexander, wj3, spence, lawson, Stanley, dodd, zeke, all possible guys at that range who I think are wayyyy better picks. Ragland just isn't that great, he's essentially another Mosley but less athletic

Who's WJ3?

Ragland in  the second is realistic and would look pretty good if we trade back and get Lawson, Alexander, Treadwell or Spence in the first, then landed Spriggs or Shepard as our other 2nd.

That's what she said.

Made my day.

Not a Big fan of this mock. Esp Tapper in the 3rd. And WJ3 won't last.

Everyone's excited we're picking this high. We gotta draft a stud, "instant coffee." IF we traded back and get Ragland, I'll probably have the biggest blue balls and stop getting hype for the draft. Lol

I don't get the William Jackson hype. I really don't like his tape much.

He's high cut so he has the same agility issues you see in big corners, I think he would be a really good FS.

WJ3 always has his hands in the right place.

Agreed. He has a great knack for reading the wrs eyes and timing and placing his swat perfectly. I think he's a raw but ideal big corner, he has the speed to make up for the slight lack of quickness and he plays both the receiver and the ball well
